I saw the launch from home. My location was 104 miles away from the Vandenburg airbase.

It was an amazing orange flare rising orver the hills and heading south moving faster and higher. I'll never forget that.

I would love to see a launch, but there aren't any in the UK.

I'm uploading the launch video as we speak - the spacecraft separation footage reminded me of the Apollo days.
