Dude, that is a sweet sounding and looking ride....Ya make me miss my 85 gt t-top, got hit from behind by a 16 yr old drunk...Have had 5 others since then and still that body style is the best to date...I had a DSS 331, holley heads, weiand intake, full bassani exhaust, 373s, ultradyne cam, 650 dbl pumper, black on gray (crying now)...Now have an 04 GT w/ kenne bell 6pds, full JBA exhaust, steeda suspension, 5spd w/ 373...but I'd take my 85 over it in a heartbeat..Again props on the ride

i want to get extra horsepower out of my 86 gt without spending alot of money. just easy tricks. do you have any recomendations?

Start out with headers and flowmaster exhaust, then try to get you a upper & lower intake-with bigger throttle body-cold air kit, find ya a good deal on some roller rockers (There easy just bolt down) (1.6) Then a f cam maybe some head work or pick up some edelbrocks rpm (I think trick flows you will have to nocth pistons or upgrade) But theres all kinds of routes to go....good luck and have fun!

make sure not to get a new cam for an 86 block, the pistons are flat top and you will rape your pushrods at initial startup, get a newer short block and build it on a stand take your time and youll be goin fast in no time
