  • Neil Young must be thinking he recorded this...

    The sound is identical.

  • Don't haunt me...

    Don't hurt me...

    Don't haunt me...

    Don't hurt me...

  • Wow. What a cool, unique, and poignant performance. The levels that Thom Yorke and Radiohead have reached are transcendent. I think thats the problem for many listeners. You can't just tune in and tune out. To "get it" and feel it you have turn on your mind and explore the place where the song takes you. Sometimes you just aren't in the mood to go there. One day you might be and in that moment you'll get the beauty behind it.

  • @69hack by that theory a lot of the greatest influences of our time are "horrendous" so I disagree. I listen to their good shit. I couldnt care less what they did recently.

  • @pushdowntightly You guys need to stop the blinded hate at muse, I know the resistance sucks, but if you say that Origin of Symmetry is garbage, there's clearly something wrong with you

  • thom and jonny at the end

    aww

  • Steve Jobs death mood

  • i love to see them one day in concert

  • STREET SPIRIT...

  • Haters/Musers gonna hate.

Its nature! So let them hate.

  • "give up the ghost' a bible concept....it's funny, a couple of days ago I just happened to read a verse about Jesus giving up the ghost. Was thinking about how strange it was to describe death that way.

  • Where are all the haters coming from? this is an amazing song. I don't understand why people want radiohead to be the same band they were 10 years ago, because that's not what they're about. If you want a band that plays the same shit as they did 10 years ago, listen to Foo Fighters or something, and move on because radiohead aren't going to make another album that sounds exactly like OKC.

  • catchy sound for two talented Oxford dudes with guitars and a sound mixer

  • Why is everyone hating this performance and this song? This song is just marvelous.

  • I'm a very big Radiohead fan, and have been since 1995. But I just do not like this song.

  • Congrats on being featured on Radioheads facebook page!

  • matt bellamy's watching this being like, "damn I used to wear THEIR shirts?"

  • Thanks for sharing this awesome performance. I would have missed it otherwise, as I have cut all form of mass media (with the exception of the internet) out of my life. Thanks!

  • This may be one of my fave songs of all time....

  • the Kick drum is so annoying... the song would be more enjoyable without it

  • the Kick drum is so annoying... the song would be more enjoyable without it

  • the Kick drum is so annoying... the song would be more enjoyable without it

  • the Kick drum is so annoying... the song would be more enjoyable without it

  • u_u,

  • performed well but I don't really like this song. can't compare to their old stuff, sorry

  • If I were Jimmy, I would have said, "Hi Michael Stipe. I loved and miss your band...but thank you for it all..."

  • Don't get me wrong I love Radiohead and Thom Yorke to death but I feel that recently the band has become Thom Yorke and Friends. I kinda feel like Thom needs to take a step back and incorporate the rest of the band a little more into the music.

BTW This was still an amazing performance.

  • @KsideHb

Which Radiohead are you referring to? They've released eight 'official' studio albums, and every one of them has a style change. One could make a case regarding similarities between "Kid A" and "Amnesiac", but all of the songs from both albums were recorded during the "Kid A" sessions. Other than that... no other two sound remotely alike. And that's EXACTLY the main reason Radiohead is so good. They never recycle anything. They go to another place we've never been before.

  • @musicdudeabides

they always change, and of course as a generation radiohead fan it's what i love about them. but by the "old radiohead" i meant the radiohead prior to this new album tkol. Everything leading up to and including in rainbows were magnificent, but this new record didnt do me justice

  • @Stophocles

    lolwat, that's a great song

  • @TheCagedTiger I'm sure it is great if you can manage to stay awake for it.

  • @Stophocles

    huehuehue

  • @Stophocles gtfo cuntbag

  • @Stophocles Obvious troll is obvious.

  • @AustinBrock omg dude i no this is random but i just wanna say u post some of the vids ever on ur channel

  • @chunkyfunkymonkeyguy You're welcome dude :).

  • @Stophocles Well your initial statement had no critique to it, sounded more like a troll. If you want to say you don't like it, then don't sound like an obvious troll.

  • @Stophocles Now you're becoming the troll again. I don't think this conversation needs to continue. Thanks.

  • @Stophocles No no sir, you obviously haven't listened to anything since OK Computer, hence why this conversation doesn't need to continue.

  • @AustinBrock O_O woah hi austin XD i freaking love your channel lol

  • @mogumunarok Hey to you too :).

  • Wow. Amazing performance. That's the best Radiohead live performance I've seen in a long time. Thom's voice is on point.

  • There's only one person cooler than Thom Yorke, And thats Jonny Greenwood.

  • Thom is getting old... but still makes fucking great music

  • @vhvasco Not that old dude, he's still young in my book, 42 I think

  • Just amazingly beautiful!!

  • superb.

  • Tried this song here, basement and album. It's just not doing it for me at all. Love the rest of King of Limbs though.

  • stop comparing Radiohead and Muse and just enjoy the fucking music

  • @Muzik844 haha they're wearing nice clothes because they got yelled at by colbert for dressing too immature for their age. he told them to "grow the fuck up"

  • The only religion I'll ever need is the Church of Radiohead.

  • wtf feels like some teenagers playing in high school o_O

  • @SirGeorge8600 still better than all the shit of muse wtf people

  • @SirGeorge8600 One of the latest Muse songs was Neutron Star Collision. Considered by many to be one of the worst songs ever made. That song alone obliterates that cute comment you made. Look kid, we were all 15 at one point ..clueless and oblivious like yourself waiting for our balls to drop. But trust me kid, it gets better. Once you hit puberty you will eventually realise how fucking horrendous Muse are and you will move on to better things

  • @pushdowntightly lol I love both Radiohead and Muse. I've been a fan of both since the 90's. I was just joking to be honest.

  • Comment removed

  • @pushdowntightly as a matter of fact, come to think of it, Sulk and Planet Telex on "The Bends" sound kind of Muse-ish imo. I don't like all Muse, but to say they're horrendous? Your face is horrendous.

  • @MrFlacid1 Muse's first few albums weren't bad at all, but the band that they've become has earned them the title "horrendous". Their last two albums have gone from bad to embarrassing.

  • @pushdowntightly i see what you mean now based on what he said. But still, Muse is not horrendous. They have some good work. In comparison though, I can't name a BAD Radiohead song, while I can name some bad Muse songs.

  • it's wonderful how Radiohead has evolved all these years... teenage pop rock, squizoid electro, and now this style is so peaceful... Hope more artists dare to work with their hanges to this point...

  • @chadrickash I'm sure if they saw that message, Radiohead would personally apologize to you for not remaining the same act that they were 12-14 years ago.

  • Thom's new hair are lame...

  • @JEA21B is lame, not are lame. And boo to your comment. who cares what he looks like?! Radiohead is awesome.

  • @Staceymatchim Yeah sorry I'm not English. And of course they're awesome. They're in my top 3. Did I say anything about the damn music??

  • haha, the juxtaposition of radiohead's reserved, understated nature and song, with the brash loudmouth US talk show host is ridiculous :')

  • This was awesome, can't say I wouldn't love what The Roots might have laid down on it though. :D

  • this guy looks like he should be playing guitar in a subway with a cup at his feet lol.

  • wowie mandel !!!

  • Thom Yorke is the grooviest hobo around

  • what! they did another show? where can i watch the full show?

  • 0 dislikes EPIC WIN!

  • looper ftw

  • Lovely.

  • Thanks uploader... +1

  • Ain lindimais!!

  • Get prepared for the view list to go through the roof.

  • Radiohead posted this on their facebook!

  • @farizzal Why wouldn't they?

  • @wantsomecake328 when I posted that comment the vid had like a thousand views so yea, I just thought the uploader would like to know!

  • Words fail me .... just pure genius

  • To the uploader thanks for putting this up but you spelt johnny greenwood wrong, i just had to say : )

  • @gozondor No. It's spelled that way.

  • @gozondor uhhhh, no he didn't.

  • @gozondor uh.. no

  • Jonny can't wait sharing the song on Facebook

  • @enricoappi I'M IN THE STUUDIO

  • @LGDIV

    ???

  • @enricoappi Watch Radiohead's Live From the Basement. Ed comments that Jonny "is tweeting again" and Thom mocks him by saying "I'M IN THE STUUUDIO".

  • Look at Jonny rocking his beloved Starcaster.

  • ooo I want that looper!

  • Great to see Jonny Greenwood on the foreground a bit. Most underrated member of Radiohead.

  • @b3naan Jonny is underrated now? Since when? Other than Thom, he's the most popular member. If you're looking for underrated, you can pick anyone else in the band. Ed, Phil, Colin.

  • @b3naan Jonny seems to be the only member other than Thom that gets talked about, so how does that work?

  • johnny's lookin classy.

  • odd choice for the jimmy fallon show. it would have been more suitable with this level of intimacy on jools holland. haha im not used to all this radiohead im getting lately. from the basement, then snl, colbert report special, two shows at the roseland ballroom and now jimmy fallon. my american mind cant handle all this coverage!!!!

  • @bluesnoopz your not one of those Hipsters i keep hearing about

  • @bluesnoopz

A tour would be fine, too...

  • Amazing...

  • I am glad they chose this song :)

  • shit, i didn't recognize micheal stipe !!!!!

  • I will die with this song in my spirit.

  • Backup singers? Meh, I'm Thom Yorke. I can handle that shit too.
