His signing bonus was 6.41 mil. Tim is a exceptional player. The Ray's did good at picking him. Everyone has their flaws, but when you're that young in the Major leagues it takes time to be on par and up to everyone else. Some of you who don't know him can't really talk about him. Went to school with him.

Got Tim's autograph at a Tourist game last night. Great kid very nice. Scored the eventual winning run in the 6th(Second game of doublheader)and made about 4 spectacular plays in just the second game including a AMAZING leaping snowcone grab to end the game. I was for the Tourist just btw.

Tim is one if not the best person that I have seen at his age to play the game of baseball. Im from griffin so I know what Im talking about. His work ethics are off of the charts. The sky is the limit with this kid.

before you guys make a judgment on this guy, by the way, he went 2 for 4 with his first professional HR yesterday. 2 weeks he was hitting .160 BA. Now, he has been red hot with the stick; his current BA up to date is .239. He is only 18 years old and he will be fine. He just needs seasoning. Even though he has 9 errors but his defense will improve. He is no rush because they have Jason Barlett and Reid Brignac waiting in the wings. As for Buster Posey, I don't care for him too much as a player.

Maybe Buster Posey would have been the best pick they don't got a great Catcher but they don't got a great SS either so both work. He'll do fine in the Minors he's just 18 alot of the other rookies are 4 to 5 years older than him. Posey hasn't even signed he could do just as bad.
