  • I'll be 80 and you'll see me try to "cat" something or climb something I Parkour is my anti-drug, my anti-anger, my anti-competition, my anti-illusion! I agree him, making Parkour a competition means you kill the element that is Parkour. Its like wearing shoes without socks. Like breathing without air or a flat bowl!!!! Just enjoy Parkour and pace ur self. I have seen some people push to much and hope you guys who Parkour are being safe.

  • Really well done! Congratz :)

  • I LOVE PARCOUR!!!!!!!!!

  • What is the name of this song?

  • This is so flippin' awesome!

  • No F#*@ing way. I'm a film student at UTA. I love parkour and I'm trying to get it bigger on campus. Any chance you have a facebook account?

  • @jmalley91 yea get a hold of me on facebook matthewleewillis

  • This is a video adults need to look at so they can understand that their kids arent jumpin round actin crazy n makin a fool of their selfs their kids are really practicin on overcoming objects in their environment so that if they are being chased by someone who wants to harm them they will be able to escape quickly

  • I agree.

  • pretty good man (y)

  • Wow thats me! lol wow it's been a while since this video...

  • this is freaking awesome. I had never even heard of it before. =]

  • Wow. I was at the workshop yesterday looking forward to the jam today. I don't know why but everytime in the couple hours before training I have to watch videos. I'm glad I watched this one. Y'all really did capture the philosophy of this art that everyone who practices parkour truly loves and why we do it.

  • Man this is good. Parkour is a philosophy. I feel it when I run. All I can hear is my breath. All I feel is the wind. All I think about is flying.

  • oh wow thats teh same faggot from expertvillage

  • wow, that was uncalled for, your a real jerk you know that?

  • Isn't that Tyson Checka?

  • I like the description of Parkour as a philosophy rather than a sport - the philosophy defines the movement, the movement dose not define parkour =)

  • cecka?

  • ... ... oh yea, oops! =P

  • don't worry about it

  • I think I commented a while back on this video. I fell out of parkour for a little while because I live in the UK and its been wintry and snowy and not great weather for training; but this video has reminded me why i love parkour, and now its dry and i can train again, im back. armed with my new DV camera and my new crew im ready to run again.

thanks for reminding me what its all about guys. the journey.

...and kudos again for a great vid.

  • Excellent documentry. You really captured the spirit of Parkour. Kudoos to some great Tracuers.

  • An excellent documentary that says everything I've ever wanted to say about parkour, but better, and even had a good many number of things I've learned from this video that I'll be applying to my own training later.

  • BRADEN!!!!

  • Very good job guys!

  • couldn't beleive how well explained things were , wicked documentary

  • This is a fantastic piece of work and I will be showing to my family and my friends so they can better understand why I train. Thanks for explaining it such a easy to understand way- train safe and run free

  • Great Video Guys. I really like what Matthew said about the prayer thing. I really like that idea and it is a great way to put it.

    Keep up to good work!

  • this video was bang on the money, i loved every second, knowing there are other like minded individuals out there who feel the same passion for Parkour i do, keep up the great work guys. :)

  • you know... Parkour really starts to feel more like a religion now... at first I thought it was just a sport...but after knowing all that philosophy and actually feeling how it is to be free to conquer obstacles I once wasn't even dreaming to get pass them...it's really deep inside my soul now...as for freerunning, it's kinda the same thing, same feeling, same passion...pk is something really special that everyone should experience...

  • the whole parkour isnt an extreme sport thing is completely right but i think that freerunning can be adapted into a sort of sport. AND the statement (u cant do parkour better than someone else) may be wrong...example ur trying to get from A 2 B going A>B is the best way...going A>C>B(you could say the wrong route) isnt as efficent. well maybe i didnt understand everything correctly...PS i loved the video so this isnt a negative coment 5 stars :)

  • Liked the religious analogy!

  • nice little gem there =)

  • I have to say that was a very inspiring video!

The parkour was great and so was the music.

    (Especially Calame from samurai Champloo)

    keep Training!

  • big up for samuri champloo btw :D

  • I am glad that I was able to inspire so many with the words. Felipe did a great job in the video.

  • Thanks for showing what parkour truly is, and not portraying it as an extreme sport.

  • No Prob. Thank you.

  • Inspiring, to say in the least.

  • "We train the most inefficient things possible in order to make them efficient." Wow, great words.

  • Thanks MAN

  • Matthew, you make me believe.

  • Not a bad little vid, if I do say.

Few times I see a PK documentary, thinking is was good...

This is one of those times.

  • quite keen to head to Texas now

  • Hey man. I train in texas out here also. It's definitely got some awesome spots to train at.

  • I didn't know UTA was so awesome for parkour. Any other good spots around DFW? I found a place behind hooters off of I20 and Hulen that had some stuff, but its the best i've found.

    Def gotta hit up UTA
