itachi hands down is the best and strongest in naruto, if he wanted to soon as sauske stepped and he got caught in the first genjutsu he coulda killed him one time. take in the fact itachis goal was to make sure orichimaru was gone from sasuke, and gave his life and eyes to his younger brother to make him be able to fend off mandara so he couldnt take advantage of his eyes. plus itachi was badly injured and gave naruto some of his powers and still manage to get saskue so close to death.

the reason why sasuke looks like a a wimp now is simply because he lacks the chakra boosts he got from absorbing orochimaru and having the curse mark. sasuke is still beast at one on ones when he can formulate a plan but at the summit he relied on his new eye jutsu because they are the most lethal without causing him to get ambushed and he relied too much on them to get him as far as his battle with danzo. he had no clue how equipped the other kage would be nor that they would be united vs him.

Sauske specifically says in the chapters after itachi dies he will destroy konoha. dont believe me reread chapters 400-403 not sure on the anime epps.

Saskue will eventualy surpass his older brother, Otherewise He will be no match for naruto, who at his current (Manga) streagnth can do the Yellow flash move. This can eaisly couter Susono's Arrows, but anyway Saskue, although he doesnt deserve it has power almost close to Itachi...
