they are talking of Chris Karloff who was the keyboard player and guitarist in their first album (their best!) ... They don't ask the question why Karloff leave the band after the first album.... cause his influence was very important in Kasabian... z band had two leaders (in songwriting) in the first album it was Pizzorno and Karloff... and i think that it was Karloff who brings more this electro rock sound in their first album... he brings them the "Neu" influence (a german 70s cult band)
