God bless you for making this video. I am a cowboy from Wyoming and spent a lot of my life in Stephenville Texas. I knew Lane, and knew him to be one of the kindest, talented young men I have ever met. I, like others that admired him,.. will find it hard to hold back the tears when thinking of him. Thank you for reminding us all of the goodness under his hat and in his heart.
@PBRfan22 yea cowboy up where do you ride at iam 14 man we need more people like you and me in this world lanes my hero to hes awsom my parents like him so do i cowboy up
@cowboyup4889 I ride in Iowa but there are some places in montana, utah, and wyoming. Most states have junior high rodeo and can ride in them next fall. I wish there were more people like you and me now its all Lil wayne and gangs.
@PBRfan22 o cool i ride in california and nevada and thats it but at school i see people saggin there pants all the time and i hate it but thats pretty cool
i rode with lane for years.i was not in cheyenne with him i had a brock leg.now ever time i go to cheyenne i thank of lane and all the good rides we had together.i rode red rock one time and got ran over. i was there when lane rode red rock for the first time. R.I.P brother/lane
@deerhunter6303 hey man could you maybe tell me some stuff about lane iam only 14 but ive watched the movie 8 seconds hundreds of times i love the way he is in that movie and i wanna ride in rodeos but aint exactly sure of how to start or anything could you help me and tell me how lane was if you can i know its probly gonna be tough but you and i are cowboys we can take it right
1. This was an awesome poem, brought a tear to my eye 2. Taken Care of Business was the name of the bull Lane last road 3. Lane was the only Cowboy ever to ride Red Rock 4. Red Rock had Nothing to do with Lanes Death 5. He is the king of Bull riders and will be missed, RIP Lane Frost
i think Lane lived a long, happy life, and Red Rock just pulled it all from under him in less then 8 seconds. that shows how dangerous this sport is. i'm a bull fighter but i'm scared shitless to even think about going on a bull. the men that do this stuff have got balls. so if you think this isn't a sport or it's not manly than why don't you get your ass up onto one of those bulls and RIDE for 8 STRAIGHT SECONDS and jump off and make a clean escape. i have done it 1 time and i pissed myself!
@intheveins2000 Red Rock was not the bull that Lane was on for his last ride. The Challenge of Champions had taken place prior to Frontier Days in Cheyenne, WY. The Bull that Lane was on was named Takin Care of Business
everytime i go to ride in a rodeo, though hes never been were i ride, my thoughts are awlays "i wonder if i can ever be as good as him." and i always pray that GOD protects me and sends Lane to help me to give it my best. the first time i watched 8 seconds i became inspired to ride and to be the best person i can be. i am 16, but i almost feel like i knew him and am following his footsteps every time i go to ride. i never got to meet him, but i miss him and every ride is in his honor. R.I.P Lane
The first two pictures of him riding aren't pictures of Lane because they didn't have vests when he was riding in in those two pictures they have vests on.
lane was the best of the best. and i ride and i never take anything for granted. we try to learn from the best... but sadly he cant be here to teach us.
im a roper lane was one hellof a bullrider my roping partner rode bulls with him we cant watch the movie with out him crying like a baby i would have loved to meet the great lane frost idk kno if this is true or not but i heard the red rock is barried next to him is this true? hes one of my greatest heros RIP mr lane frost

GREAT JOB ON THE POEM ABOUT LANE!!!!!! im 19 yrs old and im a bullrider i love the movie 8 seconds and to tell you the truth when lane stopped to show the kid how to ride properly it was awesome im not that good yet and wish there was more cowboys out there like lane frost i cry watchin that movie also and i am kinda like lane doin what i love and helpin people especially the youngins that want to learn how to ride
i know Tuff's son Lane and you can look at him and when he talks you know he care about Lane and he loves rodeo all he does is rope no bull riding for him but he respects that very much.
Ladies and gentlemen no need to worry my name is David Robertson and yes Lane is a man i look up to more than anybody and i will be the next greatest bull rider in the world just like my hero was and still is promise you that. R.I.P. Lane Frost
i love this!!!!! lane is the coolest and nicest guy i think anyone cud ever meet. i never got to meet him but i really wish i cud have. he is my hero and i wish more guys in rodeo today cud be like him even girls. everytime i watch this movie i cry. all the time. there has never been once when i havent. he lives on in all of our hearts and souls rest in peace lane
His spirit lives on in every person that loves the sport and holds the values of being true. If I could be a quarter of a man than Lane was I will have lived a great life.
Lane Frost will never be forgotten he is my insperation and he was also my dads closest friend he reall wishes i could hav met him and i really wish i could hav too Lane Frost is my hero R.I.P
I have seen just about every tribute to Lane and must say that yours is one of the more tastefully done one that i have come accross.... Thank you for sharing.
He is buried in Oklahoma where his parents live, there is a grave yard in Hugo Oklahoma that he was suppose to be buried at there is a headstone there but it is rummored his parents buried him close to there home.
no it wasnt the bulls fault at all it was rainy and muddy outside so he just lowered his head him and slipped so he put all his pressure on him which caused his death so they kept bucking the bull
thank u for puttin this up! omg i almost cryed readin the poem. he was a great man and a great bull rider! he didnt deserve to die! "Don't be afraid to do what you want or want to be, but don't be afraid to be willing to pay the price" ~Lane Frost~ and this great man did pay the price. we miss u Lane! *takes off hat and puts it over heart* i wich i coulve met u!
I can't believe that it's been almost 20 years since we lost our hero. I was in Cheyenne and at the rodeo when this happened. Lane was a great man who truly represented the important characteristics of the American West and the people who call themselves ranchers and farmers. We miss you Lane.........your friend from NM.
This was the awesomest poem i have ever seen...ever since i was a little kid Lane wass my hero...the greatest man that has ever set on a bull...he will always be remembered no matter what...very good job making this it was amazing
this is an awsome video. i saw the arena where he got killed and this summer i am going to watch the rodeo. They call it the Daddy Of Em All becase only the best make it there. And no matter waht the best died there. Lane Frost.... that name will always be remembered

He was killed by a bull called Taking Care of Business. not by Red Rock as many people belive
