nice game..i am only a modest player, but if there is anything i will not permit it is the approach of a knight to my back ranks...of course, all beginners dream of knight forks, but for me they are they most troublesome pieces of the game, all forks aside...could use a better view of your screen...ciao.
I like your chess vids, they are very instructional. On move 16. Bg5. Can't you play, 16... BxB? If his f3 Knight ever leaves f3 you can play Nd2 right?
A typical 5 minute blitz game doesn't allow for the kind of extended analysis you give here if it's ever going to make it to the endgame. It's typically a 'mouse race' to the finish with moves dictated by experience combined with instincts and intuition. I don't find winning or losing on time alone to be very edifying.
At 8:20, you could have traded dark square bishops. If his queen takes back, then trade queens and then move knight to d2 forking his rooks.

@10:09 Look at that light squared bishop! Good game though.

Yes he is a very important bishop, protects against the f4-f5 break and also watches a4 pawn

I really like your idea of putting your knight on c5. That seems to be a very good idea. After he blundered his knight it was a pretty easy win.;)

I felt I was a little worse out of the opening but my opponent drifted. Obviously with Nd2 he drifted a lot.

very instructional in terms of king vs queenside play (Kf8, fightig for b3/b5 etc). Thanks for that.
