@DancingSpiderman I agree that Idaho has a ways to go to be more accepting of different ethnic groups. But you should research all the Native Americans in Idaho. They are very accepting of all people.

@UtahMattressOutlet I'm full Native, I've never been to Idaho. But I've heard from my sister that Montana is full of bigots they used to put up with when they lived there. I'm in Arizona, and so I don't know what to think. BTW I've lived in AZ for going on 5 years now, and people say AZ is a bunch of bigots and trouble, but I really DO NOT encounter any social problems of which out-of-state people speak of; as long as you don't seem like trouble, you don't get trouble. ?

I lived in Idaho, went to one of the most well-respected schools on the west coast, and was accepted to three ivy league schools but chose to go to England for my studies instead.

I am 100% Idahoan, and I wouldn't have it any other way, but I do resent when people who are either ignorant or stubborn generalize about our intelligence and lifestyles...

Idaho is beautiful- not every person in it voted for McCain, and we don't appreciate you saying such things

Native Idahoan here. If you like to do things in the mountains, camp, fish, hunt, hike, rock-climb, etc., it's a great place to live. Only 90 minutes from Jackson Hole, WY. Beautiful state.
