Does anybody know the Martti TALVELA version in a 1987's DECCA record, with  Edita GRUBEROVA as Konstanze, Kathleen BATTLE as Blonde, Gösta WINBERGH as Belmonte and a very funny Heinz ZEDNIK as Pedrillo ? The WIENER PHILARMONIKER are conducted by the great Georg SOLTI. I really love his brilliant tempos, and I really love - as a bass-baryton myslef - Martti TALVELA !

it is indeed pedrillo, this is the scene where Osmin basicly tells Pedrillo that he wants to boil pedrillo in oil skin him and slaughter him (among other things).  He doesnt tell belmonte this when he is alone, only when he is with the 4 other protaganists

For me there's no better one. I'm very happy that my parents will buy me this DVD for my birthday.

I'd be deeply grateful if you'd upload more videos showing us Moll's oustanding performances or could you give me some tips in which performances he was great?
