Man, I totally agree with you. To be honest, it shouldn't even be nominated. It's hardly a documentary, but more a collection of footages of him rehearsing and then edit all together and voila. My guess is that, if it is nominated or worse, win, it's all because of his death, sort of a pity award or some sort. It would be like insulting MJ, because I am sure he would know, if he were here, that "This is it" is NOT related to movie making at all. It was more or less a tribute video.
