watching this video made me feel so much better about myself and my practice. Thank you so very much. I mess up all the time, I forget my train of thought. When working with candle magic, I'll completely blank and don't know what I'm doing (I'm not extremely well versed yet), and will have to get out my BOS when I had much rather been simple at the moment.

And, I've caught my hair on fire and burned a hole in my carpet. etc, etc.

And, I loved the "laughing during sex" part. I do that often. <3

OMG this video brings some awful but comical memories of my rituals. From knocking lit candles, spilling the blessing water, matches that doesnt lit. I remember for adding WAY too much salt peter in my incense and my ritual turned out to be more of a 4th of July fireworks!

Great video! I have a natural tendency to mess things up so I try not to complicate ritual for my own sake! :D also my curious cats jumping around and playing with my feet doesn't really help on that "serious" ritual atmosphere. I feel that being spontaneous is wonderful, even when you end up having some embarrassing moment at least you have either a funny story to share or a lesson learned.

I don't even have ritual plans, i don't call the quarters or anything like that. when I feel like honoring the Divine or nature or anything like that I just say whatever comes to mind...it's nowhere near perfect but the feeling is there, and nothing bad happens because I didn't do something the "right way"... life wouldn't be as fun if everything just went exactly as it was supposed to

I am in no way perfect, pagan or otherwise, and thats not what my problem is, my problem is is that there are pagans who will still tell u ur beliefs are wrong and that you need to believe 'so and so'.

EX: I expressed my beliefs on fairies over the internet because someone had a q on them and I specifically said that that is my belief and they can believe whatever. I believe that they are outside human morality so their not evil their just them, and this one wiccan said 'NO! Fairies are evil!

I agree completely. No one is perfect; I think we tend to be most critical of ourselves, accepting accidents or whatever in others where we don't in ourselves. Personally, I work with very little tools, even though I had every tool under the moon when I started out. But I've found I really prefer it that way. I've also realized that I prefer winging any rituals I do and going with what I'm feeling, rather than trying to be "right".
