@cometpowell yeah you can I have a 1988 s 10 with a 400ci small block chevy engine. All you have to do is buy a truck with a v8 engine and tranny and buy headers, motor mounts, drive shaft cut down, and a new rearend if you are not running a overdrive tranny. I went from a 2.5L 4 cylinder to a 400ci v8 its fast as hell and very fun to drive.

Nice job man. I noticed the oil pressure gauge is running a little high at idle. Did you use a high volume oil pump to keep the turbo bearings oiled adequately? I just finished a V8 s10 swap and was thinking about doing a TBI blow through setup with a junkyard turbo out of a talon or such mounted in the rear but I have never played around with turbo installs before. Is the high volume pump good insurance or should I run a remote oil reservoir with cooler and filter setup.
i have a 355 with flat top pistons and 202 double hump heads i was thinking of doing a set up like that for my 355 block... whats your cam and crank set up for that?
what compression are you running for that turbo?
what is your cam duration and lift? do you have vacuum problems from your cam

@dime6664ever Turbo's generally have a higher HP gain than Superchargers. Though the most gain with a turbo is at higher RPM. A Supercharger provides more Torque and HP at lower RPM. A consistent band of power with no lag... I'm partial to superchargers. All depends on what engine setup you have.
I've never really cared for the box style s10 but this is one clean and well put together chevy. It got my heart to pumpin. I miss my 94, no turbo but still a hell of a rush. Hell of a job, you can tell when someone puts some work into their rig when they fire it up and give it a little bit to get the oil pumping through it before redlining it. Again good job and hell of a rig!

@wemankane914 I am sure he will agree they are the cheap ass shitty "projector" headlights off of ebay. The biggest waste of 35 dollars i have ever seen. The "project" about 3 feet from the truck after that your fucked.

those projector lights arnt very bright cuz they are black in the back instead of the shinny stuff.. i have a shittys ass ebay set on my other truck that are the shinny ones and they are a hell of alot brighter than any sealed beam ive tried so far.. so not that big of a waste my friend..

i know you never see any nice s-10s around anymore, let alone custom built ones. treat the truck nice with care and it will last along time. i was wanting to get a manual s10 but instead i got a automatic. eh :( still kick ass truck. i could of swore i saw this truck somewhere

im a 15 year old boy and love ur truckthe turbo looks nasty nice blow off valve to that thing must really fucking kick it. where the hell did u get the knowledge to cuztom build that hold thing and come out with a master peace i fucking look up to u alot man i would like to do a project when i get older and get some money

Lol you should feel glad you even know the basics dude, I'm 18 and learning everything at once for the first time in my life, 2 strokes, 4 strokes, 4 bangers, v6's, v8's, the shits all soooooo confusing at first, I got most of it down now though, doing up my s10, glad I got kids like you though thats for sure:P
