Luckily they have the support of friends and family to help them get throught this but when you have a disaster like this happen you don't need it to be broadcasted to the whole world.
I think it is stupid to bring up that your family built this house and how much of a dream home it was to them and how your family didn't want to sell it. If you didn't want to sell it then you shouldn't have and this situation isn't about your family. It's about the current residents of the home.
