@yourpalal1227: Since the parade was on a Tuesday, they started it at 5pm so that people who worked would be able to attend. Anyone who worked on Canal (or anywhere along the parade route) just walked right out of their office buildings & joined the crowds lining the street.

This parade would have been alot better if it was held during the daytime! Hopefully, next year, they'll correct this mistake.

I let a job go to see this parade. There was no way I was not going to be a part of this history. My son is St. Aug's band , he was marching and the Saints won the Superbowl. I was going to see my son march in that parade.

It was one of the best decisions of my life. I had the time of my life, the city was electrifying with all of the joy. The energy was totally off the hook.

As for the job...I'm a nurse, wasn't a problem getting another one :)

This is awesome, im from melbourne australia and ive been a saints fan since the 2006 season when the superdome was repaired after hurricane katrina, and for them to win the superbowl is absolutely brilliant. WHO DAT!!!!!
