  • does anyone know if this valeo dmf is stronger than their current setup? i have dmf, the springs inside are constantly compressing. They need a design in which the spring not only compresses, but decompressed during reverse engine torque, that way, you dont just end up with a lose spring setup and a craptastic DMF. For example, use engine breaking to "stretch" the springs, thus reversing some of the compression from constant use.

  • agree with you joztom. Only tested on computers and not in the real world I would think any one with only 1 brain cell could tell you that these dual mass flywheels have too much to go wrong. Why dump crap products like these on the public that costs over £1000 to fix and replace with a old fashoined tested by time flywheel

  • Low mileage (up to 120k km, then became gearbox failure on VAG or conrod failure on Renault via contra-punches ureliable DMF), very high costs, up to 1.500€ per replacement. Why do you push us with such as crap after 100 years success classic type connections flywheel with lifetime serving.
