I watched this again to remind myself of how to do a really fine video, simply. I'm doing one now that would only take a nudge to go over into bathos. I wanted to see how a master makes his choices. Thank you!
so you do music videos w/ movie footage? do you take requests? can u do sumthin clevah w/ 'benjamin button.' lame movie, id like to see it as a comedy.
Well good job, your video pushed me to go ahead and watch it, which I just did. I found the Nouvelle Vague-ish mise en scene (handheld camerawork, jump cuts, offbeat editing) somewhat unsettling at first but eventually thought it was quite an interesting way to convey Wilson's spontaneous telling of his memory. I liked it, so thanks!
Very good tribute to this really powerful film. Yeah, Terence Stamp and Peter Fonda both got robbed at Oscar time. I loved this film, too bad they botched the promo campaign and, when immediate box office didn't materialize, the studio let it drop into obscurity. A really, really minor unsung classic.
I've never seen The Limey but I'm definitely going to check it out now. There's this documentary feel in the cinematography. Did Soberbergh shoot this digital?
not a forgotten treasure to me, cuz i have never heard of it before! i guess it wasn't well received in the UK (?). it looks good though, i wanna see it.
oh wow!, I love The Limey!...great choice!!, Terence Stamp should have gotten an Academy Award nomination for this!...thanks for adding this Paul!..P.s. great choice of music!

Terence Stamp was brilliant in this role...He deserved an Oscar nomination, but the Academy is all politics.

Man this video kicks arse, great job at capturing the film's style

Great film, great Pete Townshend song "The Seeker'. Terence Stamps brother Chris was The Whos manager along with Kit Lambert from 1965 to 1975.

Forgotten? Nah! Treasure? Yeah!
One of my favourite three films of the '90s.
Terence Stamp should get more contempory lead roles.

Well, not entierly forgotten; personally, I adore it. Quite true, though, Soderbergh remains among the most underrated directors. Well cut.

Yes! Great film; forgotten treasure is right. Holds up a lot better than Traffic IMHO. Damn I wish Terrence Stamp was still playing roles this good.
