Really good to see your back (and front). It would be nice to be able to follow your musical progress but we are not all clever enough to Facebook andchat etc.

  • I like to pinch the red pary of the tail at the end where it meets the clear part. Gets it every time. Kind of like cutting right through it with an imaginary knife! Trust me, lots of experience from shrimp cocktails on set. They go fast!

    I've always wanted to know how to cook in my Crock Pot! It's just sitting there in storage.

  • The only thing that makes gumbo traditional is lots of roux. As long as its thick, dark and hearty, you can put anything you want in it. I should know. I live in louisiana and my mom is cajun. Lots of rednecks think okra is always a main ingredient when its not. Crawfish too :p

  • Haha guess I'm a redneck then. The first time I made this, I attempted to make a roux. But... it tasted the same without it the second and third time so I just skipped it. :)
