Congratulations to us all! finally LPBC made a mark in the world. im also proud of Armando. a dream come true. im Raymond. LPBC member from 1978 to 1984. hope you all still remember me? who can forget our engagements in Malacanang, Folk Arts, annual seminar in Maryhurst seminary Baguio plus the concerts we had in provinces. dun sa di na ako matandaan, ako yung pang 3rd sa panorama cover. 1st si ronald then 2nd si Michael riggs aka "eagle" na nasa GMA 7 morning show na. hope to see you all guys!

I was a member of the PNC Boy's Choir back in the early 80's and remember performing alongside the Las Pinas Boy's Choir in numerous Malacanang functions and competitions at the CCP. It sure was a great time. It's good to know that your choir tradition has flourished all through these years. I wish you all the best!

I remember the performances of various boys choir at the Folk Arts Theatre... It was a great time. Fantastic sound. Imagine 100 member boys singing. At the end, we had to sing... what was that song?... propaganda song of the Marcoses?... I remember the different Filipino costumes...

One song that pops out is the ever famous "HALLELUJAH". Oh yes, the Folk Arts theater how can I forget. What about the Art Center in Mount Makiling. I do remember different choir's being taken in these places in bus loads anytime the Marcoses needed to entertain foreign dignitaries. I wore the typical farmer costume and the bahag (Igorot style) not too fond of that though...hehehe. Wow, it's nice to talk about good times. Who knows we may have bumped into each other then. Regards.

Of course, the Hallelujah!...strange? di ko agad naalala yon... I had the farmer's costume as well with the red scarf. And I think I got to wear also the Igorot costume especially when I was new to the choir, the older members of our choir would always get what they want which would leave us with no choice but wear the bahag. It was still a lot of fun, anyway. Really great experience. I was a member of LPBC from 81 to 87.

I believe we were the last batch to actually represent our school and I graduated HS in 1985. I was a member from Grade 4 until 4th Year HS. After that our coductress relocated to Japan and never heard from her again. Yep, it's sad that our tradition did not continue that is why I am just so proud for LPBC that they have continued on. It was just a great experience for me then and I am sure it is equally the same for the new generations now. This experience they will remember forever.

i think i remember you. hope you still remember me Raymond. i am one of those older members who would pick the costumes first. so sorry but because i had to sing solo a few first lines of the 'Pilipinas kong mahal' and im shy to wear bahag. it was really fun that time. i even forgot some lyrics during the rehearsal. Anyway it was a great experience to be a part of LPBC. Congratulations to us all. hope we could organize a reunion someday.
