Parisa sar-taj-e musiqi-ye rastin-e Iran ast va khanande-ye yekta mibashad ke shayestegi dare ke jelo-ye mardom bekhune. Khodesh hamishe pak o pakize va forutan mande. Parisa is the only femail vocalist worth hearing because she sings the authentic dastgah with determination and total humility. Almost all other femail vocalists should be banned for destroying the honorable dastgah tradition and replacing it with ugly westernized pop imitations. Dr. Lloyd Miller (Kurosh Ali Khan)
Thanks for preserving and sharing this piece of history. We shed a ear in mouring of a glory we new and enjoyed once, an atmosphere that was flight of light, music and art. Thanks Lady Parisa for the music. Invaluable Jems like you, among others make me proud to be Iranian.
Divine! Patience: abt 7 mins she sings Yaran! (O Lovers!) You maybe transposed up to Heaven, perhaps in tears of joy!
In Iranian tradition, she sings Persian classic poetry abt Love & Fate in long high notes from the bottom of her heart thru her vibrating throat- like a Bulbul/Nightingale.
Parisa sings with her soul and heart from the depths of her lungs and throat, not just from her mouth.
For those who only know the amazing Egyptian Stars 'Um Kalthoum' & 'Asmahan', Parisa is the Moon!
Oh dear, thank you, when i read the sentence that she was past a way, was really shocked, and cring, Oh man, God save my beautiful iranian sanger, Oh dear, oh dear, It is a wonderful song, really dont have word to say. I love it. Proud to be Iranian. Can somebody tell me when she is coming to Europe to give an conert? And many thanks for all this video of her.

Doroud bar Parisa. I've been listening to her since I was pronouncing a Sibzamini, a Dibdamini! She was a perfect duo with Shajarian in traditional music festivals before the revolutions. Unfortunately, Mullas banned her from singing in Iran.
Wait. I may be misunderstanding what you're saying, but are you suggesting Parisa has passed away? If so, then that is incorrect. She is still tours in Europe and the US. Her last performance was with Iman Vazir this year.
I think Pir e Farzaneh is very unique in a way that it's so pleasant even the first time you listen to it, yet it is very modern. This not the case for most of Tasnifs that are very traditional.
Parisa is so perfect here. Golen time of persian music!
effortless, omg can't believe how good she actually is, and yes, this comes from a 20-year old...

@afmehrassa:
The Tombak player is Mr. Morteza Ayan not Shemirani
One way to know among others is:
Shemirani is Right handed.
The Tonbak player in this video is Left handed :)

This is a really amazing and stylish piece of music, a cornerstone of Iranian classical music, a novel interpretation and combination.
