Seriously fans, quit being butthurt about everything that doesn't remotely resemble the originals. Elitism only goes so far before you sound like a prick. I, for one, found this really enjoyable as i'm also a big fan of arcade rail shooters, as bad as their plots are. I've always wondered what the Silent Hill franchise would look with this treatment. It's fun if you get past the voice acting and has a few great references here and there. They did alright. But they could''ve done better I admit.

The name is just there for fans of the series,so when a fan DOES play it,

Played this game in Skegness/Ingoldmells seaside arcades, they always have some good machines to play on, for like £1 ffs. HOtD 4 and even HOtD 3 is way better than this lol, better graphics, better gameplay. Best arcade game I played in those sides was the new afterburner (i think) which swings you around like crazy and only cost 20p, rinsed that game, but HOD and Time Crisis 4 or 5 aswell. I love arcade gaming!

yea its not a conventional silent hill game at all, they obviously tried branching the series out in other directions, or into more possible outlets and target audiences, but it was a gamble, because really this game is weak. Yea you might as well play HOD, which is one of the best rail shooters going since Time Crisis and Crypt Killer IMO.
