  • nice pictures! looks beautiful there.. :-)

  • this was so neat, and very beautiful. things don't always have to be green to have beauty in them - great camera eye you have there too!

  • thank you very much :) It has some green..but it is short lived. I try to catch as much as I can to film or tape so I can remind myself it is out there LOL

  • Oh Tori what a lovely video. Did you say that the flowers with the sheep were poppies? What a great looking bunch of girls...5* and subbed.

  • Yes they are called California poppies. I live next to the poppy reserve. It is the largest natural reserve of them. They have a huge festival every year with booths selling art and crafts all poppy related. Along with other things. I have yet to go though LOL. Thanks Tori

  • Love seeing the dessert and thanks for sharing spring! I never saw it with so many flowers. Great to see you and your daughters as well!

    Many thanks,

    Adrian

  • Thank you very much. The desert can be pretty in the spring..but summer is a different thing all together LOL Take care Tori

    oooh! bunny rabbit!

  • yeah...the bunnies are my favorite things out here. They are so cute! Thank you for watching :)

  • Tori, the desert is beautiful!! Amazing photo opportunities..I am jealous..:) I have to say though..the snake..not my favorite..lol..what kind of snake was he? Great vid..thanks so much for sharing..:) I look forward to your next..

  • Thank you Eva for the nice comment. I agree with you about the snake. It was just a gopher snake. And yes, although not full of poison, they DO bite. Our yard can get full of them YUCK. All rattlers we get..I am too scared to grab a camera to take a pic. I just get rid of them.

  • OK..you have peeked my curiousity..how do you get rid of rattlers? Yuk..I can't imagine getting close enough to do anything with them..I really don't mind snakes much..but I prefer just to see them from a distance..a very large distance..lol..

  • Well to be honest, my first rattler I got rid of in a very stupid way. I scooped him up in a net to get him away from my rabbits hutch. I didn't know it was a rattler till I dumped it in the open field out front of my house..THAT was an eye opener. After that I ended up killing the next because he was under my truck..that was gross and sick, but it was him or me and my kids. since then I hope and pray they just go away when I see them. Same goes for the scorpions.

  • Oh my! Scorpions too? OK..I think I will leave you to photograph the desert..your wild life is a little to much for me..:) Have a great day!

  • This is wonderful. All the sheep and the shepherd and the poppies. Rock formations! I love it. We have a little week-end place in Morongo Valley near Palm Springs. We haven't been out there for more than a month and your video sure made me think about getting out to our place before the flowers disappear!

  • Thank you so much. This year the flowers have just been extraordinary. If you get to go to your week-end home, please be sure to take plenty of pictures. I would love to see them.

  • Great Video!

  • Thank you very much :)
