  • just a quick question on your setup (or for mine)

    does it make a difference, or does it screw anything up if the monitors are different sizes/resolutions?

    say, if i wanted to hook up a 22" 1680x1050 monitor to my 17" 1440x900 laptop, would that mess anything up?

    how would that work?

    any help is appreciated

    thanks

  • no sir (or m'am) i doesn't matter any resolution or screen size etc. maxi vista works through a network to transfer images from one pc to the next vist their site for more details

  • cool!

  • why would i want 4 laptops just dumb

  • haha ..was just thinking that... why not just invest in 3 monitors... cheaper.. bigger... better.

  • Think about it:

    1 pc is compiling something;

    1 pc is running some heavy photoshop stuff;

    1 pc is free for porn and e-mail checking.

    Got it? ;D

  • laughs that's the first thing I thought of when I wondered why a man would create something to run on four _portable_ computers.

  • bigger and better

  • The thing I've been trying to find is removing screen from my two dead laptops and using all 3 screens for my one cpu. I know it can be done, I saw pics while reading a tutorial on an oil cooling cpu technique. That would be so bad ass, you could make a display identical to the cpu in the Matrix.

  • I have 5 to connect YAY

  • hmm how many can you connect?

  • Gather all the PCs that you have together, shove them in your router, get the software and bingo you're off

  • damn, me neither.

  • Thats so cool. But I dont have 4 laptops to connect.
