@ivar3145 It just doesn't make sense to me to torture and rape animals to avoid the 1 in 1 million chance of B12 deficiency; while consuming rotting animal carcass puts you in 1 in 2 chance of dying prematurely from heart attack/stroke. Plus, the 1 in 2 risk of being on presciption drugs as a meat eater, set to be 2 out of 3 in < 10 years. Just doesn't make sense.
@ivar3145 I recommend you get facts of that rotting flesh, after all you owe it to yourself to know what you stuff in that pie hole, right? The tortured animal's carcass begins to rot the second the heart stops supplying oxygenated blood to the body. Within 2 hours rigor mortis has set in, just like human corpses. In fact testimony from cannibals indicates no difference in the rotten taste/smell of human flesh from that of common livestock animals. But don't believe me; you check it out, bud.
@ivar3145 Ah, so it is rotten. Why don't they out labels on the packages of stank and rot to tell you what it actually in it? You don't even want to know what is in it, do you? Who is clueless then?
I am sorry to have to blow a very large load of truth in your face, but here's a towel, bud ;)
@ivar3145 Then why do they have to gas it and dye it so that it does not smell/look rotten in those gas sealed packages? Do you work in a slaughter house? Do you know how long it rots? Turn that stank rot meat over before you cook it next time, and smell that rot that is on it, in it. How sick!
Seems like you apologize a lot for an industry that does not care that they poison you.
@ivar3145 Do you know your B12 level? Do you know how much of that is active vs. inactive B12? Do you know your levels for the past 5 years to see if it is de/increasing? Did you know that most folks who suffer from B12 problems eat rotting flesh? Juss askin....
Three kinds of people I hate, militant atheists, vegans, and feminists, we don't give a shit about what you think, now how about you let us live how we want.
Honestly, the crap they are putting in our food makes me want to eliminate dairy and meats. Its going to be a process, but I believe I can. If someone cares about their body and health they will make changes
@allegranique "the crap they are putting in our food makes me want to eliminate dairy and meats" This is exactly why I went vegan, and it was by accident really. I was spending precious hours scouring labels for the lastest harmful substance, for the next deadly substance in meat/dairy/eggs, for the latest harmful ingredient or additive, trying to keep it all straight. I finally said F it ALL! If it has more than 1 ingredient, I'm not eating it. I cook with whole foods for me. Than meant vegan!
As a meat eater, everybody has to come to a realization on their own. All any of you can do is present information and make people more aware. Oh course people are going to say dumb things because they don't know about vegans.
I've been a vegetarian(not all the way vegan) before it's not that bad.
Becoming a vegan from being a meat eater is a dramatic change, especially for the body. It's a hard transition) so try to support the meat eater to changing instead of criticizing
As per nature food circle or food chain plant based food is allotted to human.
Every non vegetarian should aware... eating animal based food is breaking nature law or system! Collapsing nature is a big problem for our kids (next generation).
I love this video. People have used every one of these excuses to me. One more that I think of is "Animals will over populate!" Yea, right. Anyways thanks so much for the upload.
Oh look is that a vegan taking the moral high ground or just another self opinionated idiot with his head so far up his own ass that he can't see daylight. Go munch a mung bean so you can fart your own head into reality.
@reggiefavre Why would you think that? On your list of nutritional concerns, protein should be dead LAST. There isn't even a medical term for protein deficiency because it's simply unheard of. It's impossible to eat a diet that is sufficient in calories but insufficient in protein. I understand that eating a vegan diet takes some getting used to, and plant-based foods may feel lighter, but that in no way means you're not getting enough protein.

@supershqipa There is some humor and satire, for sure. And I get at least 1 of these 10 thrown at me at least once per day. But hey, do the right thing, stop torturing animals and ingesting their diseased rotting flesh, then you might hear these very arguments day after day for years, then perhaps you would be begging for some humorous outlet in response. Not all vegan response is satire, however. Now barring an instant real change in your life, I bet you can make the Top 10 ;)
@DISTASTEgrind The second one isn't true. We do have enough food to feed the world. The problem is transportation and funding, and even if we get it to the place that needs it most, it's still hard to stop it from going to those in power who are corrupt.
@DeadFishFactory "If the whole world were vegan, we'd have world peace." Not sure about that, but I do know there will NEVER be peace in this world so long as animals are raped and tortured for the pleasure of an elite few.
"We could feed the whole world if everyone were vegan." You know that we feed 12 BILLION livestock animals per year? This is 200% more mouths to feed than humans; most livestock consumes more than humans.
"You should feel guilty for eating flesh." We need to see it as it is.
@DeadFishFactory Actually that is where we get most of our oils, right? They are byproducts of the processed feed for livestock. So far as the real food, some slight modifications to the techniques now could make it human food by next harvest. The resources are there. Simple. If we eat meat then it is not that simple, because our biases want it complex, to avoid seeing the matter clearly. Turns out, the excuses folks use to torture animals and ingest rotting flesh are just that: excuses.
@FathomlessJoy Less than 10% of total crop yield is fed to animals. And that 10% is the coarse grain, hay, and grass that we cannot digest (you do know that humans can't really digest cellulose, right?). I don't know of any modifications that would turn cellulose edible to humans. Must be some kind of super secret farmer's conspiracy.
@DeadFishFactory 98% of the soybeans in the US, the world's largest producer of soy, is fed to the livestock you ingest. Most of the world's corn, wheat, oats, and potatoes are fed to livestock as well. Over half of the world's fresh water is used for livestock. Let's face it, furry friend, there are 16 billion extra mouths to feed and water, most of whom eat and drink FAR more than humans.
@FathomlessJoy Probably never will there be world peace. But having NO respect for living, sentient non-humans we can never even be headed in that direction.
The video has me still laughing, I just got of the phone with a friend who uses 2-3 of these stupid arguments every timewe speak. His main argument tonite was "well, every society eats meat" which just left me speechless..... and this guy has a masters degree. Well, there's just no accounting for totally stupidity.
@chainamarie03 Exactly, not only are we not moving toward world peace, we are actually moving away from it further every year. Peaceful, healthy, sane peeps simple do not commit mass torture and rape of animals like this.
About your friend, ever notice that sometimes he will let his cruel defenses down and explore the real possibilty of healthy and compassionate plant based living. Then in a week or a month, he has forgetten all about it, his mind falls right back into the same grove? Peace.
@FathomlessJoy I'm really sad to have to say that he never even goes that far......he is stuck in a certain mind set and come hell or high water I don't think he is even capable of change. That makes me sad.
I now refuse to eat out w/him 'cause sitting across a table and seeing someone I would like to care for chow down on a once living being to just too disgustinging.
@chainamarie03 Yes, once I went a while without eating flesh it started to sicken me to smell it or see it. It is okay to respectfully decline to be around those who are cruel and unhealthy. I hang out with folks for a coffee or something, though I don't drink coffee, but I am simply not going to sit around with others while they ingest rotting animals. It is repulsive. And I was a hunter for many, many years.
I've got a better answer to "What do you eat?" I always tell them "a lot", because it's true.
@CantWeedThis - I haven't been vegan my whole life, and even when I did eat meat I refused to touch veal. Veal is just wrong on way to many levels, even if you do eat meat.
vegans are stupid. Proof: modern humans didn't develop large, fully functional brains until the discovery of fire and the ability to cook meat. Meat provides nutrients to the body and more importantly the brain that nothing else can. If you really care about animals so much that you can accept being stupid, be my guest
@skiwashington092 Im not sure i can decipher from that what the exact argument is that youre trying to make for murder. Is it that you know meat to be of the most nutritional source of food for our species and so you think that alone can be your justification for imposing suffering on the innocent? We have "proof" of modern day vegetable eaters as well as those throughout human history who have gone virtually their entire lives without eating meat. Meat isnt necessary for human survival.
@skiwashington092 "Meat provides nutrients to the body and more importantly the brain that nothing else can" You're misinformed. In fact, rotting flesh is what is killing us. Man eventually learned to cook meat, because man is not a carnivore and the meat causes disease if not cooked, perhaps not right away but surely in most cases over time. But man knows now that cooking rotting animal flesh creates powerful carcinogens on the flesh that alter the DNA of the body's cells. Either way: disease.
@skiwashington092 What u said just doesn't make sense. A true carnivore doesn't cook their 'meat'. A lion gulps down all the blood, skin, fur, etc, etc,. .....what makes for a fully functional brain is healthy food that nourishes the body and brain and the only healthy thing u get from flesh is what the cow 'ate'. So, cut out the middle part (the animal) and eat the healthy stuff yourself.
@chainamarie03 Great point. And they call themselves carnivores. They are not lions. Is eating meat primitive though for human beings? Check out this video! /watch?v=aS5CpSXDULM
You do not convert people by insulting them. All you're doing is chasing people away from the vegan lifestyle. You need to present facts in a respectful manner and withhold the judgment. This approach is exactly why nobody wants to listen to us. We want people to be drawn to the change not chased away from it. You're hurting the cause.
@isabelzavoranu Often satire is used to expose major problems. Take for instance Jonathan Swift's, "A Modest Proposal."
I would like to learn more about your approach to this problem though. How do you personally help educate folks that animal rape and torture is an atrocity and eating diseased rotting flesh is unhealthy?
@FathomlessJoy It's not about what you think. It's about the people you are trying to get through to. Scolding them about the atrocities only sends them running away. They feel like they are being judged and that makes them angry. You want to be someone that meat-eaters can come to when they finally decide to change their lifestyle. Nobody likes admitting that they were wrong. They need to feel safe. You have to be that haven for them.
@FathomlessJoy What I do is tell people about how much better I feel after cutting meat out of my diet. I have more energy, I don't have to squirt Afrin up my nose every night in order to breath, my allergies have gone away, and I've discovered a whole new world of delicious recipes. People seem to respond very well to that.
saying you're going to kill innocent children is pretty extreme. I liked the video. I just didn't like that part it implied that meat eaters are somehow evil.
@WaCCo80 It is infact morally wrong to impose suffering and death on innocent sentient creatures who came into existence the same way you did but had an unlucky roll of the dice. So meat eaters may not be conscious that they are evil but from a perspective of ultimate truth we know that they are unwittingly being evil and barbaric despite the fact that they have a brain that has the ability to perform logic and reach the right conclusion. We can survive without murdering to eat, so why not do it
@CantWeedThis eating meat and murdering children can never be compared as equal evils. Humans do have the ability to think and that's why you should've known that. I had domino's for dinner along with my beautiful loving children . That don't mean we are an evil family and give so militant vegan the right to harm us. Its groups like peta who has admitted to funding terrorist like the alf, that help ensure most people will never give up meat because the "face" of the movement is bad people.
@WaCCo80 You say "eating meat" as though its a harmless activity. There was suffering and death of an equally conscious creature in order to provide you dinner. Consciousness is one thing in all creatures humans included. Its an awareness, a fear of pain and death. Just because you can drive a gas powered automobile and live in a house made of trees does not entitle your baby human any more right than a baby cow in avoiding the exact same feeling of pain and agony. So avoid suffering at all cost
@CantWeedThis there you go again saying that animals are equal to humans. Its simply not true, its called the food chain and on land we are on top. I can't believe I'm even having a conversation like this haven't you ever hunted or fished? Nothing evil about that, but that's eating animals.
@WaCCo80 So from that response we can conclude that you do not care about suffering. Not only that but you piss on suffering. The fact remains that you and your family could thrive off of healthy and enjoyable meals that dont involve needless suffering. You then are selfishly choosing for no good reason to murder. But why then, just because meat tastes good? And you cant spend 15 minutes to figure out how to get protein from something besides the flesh of your fallen comrades?
@CantWeedThis I don't think theirs anything wrong with eating meat. Even if I did have you seen the price of the vegetables and vegan food its crazy expensive my aunt is a vegan and she will be the first to tell you it was the most expensive change she ever made, but like you she don't mind paying cuz she is huge into loving animals.
@WaCCo80 what? huh? LOLOL! I just typed a whole paragraph for you making a logical analogy showing how silly your "food chain" argument is because it doesnt apply to anything bigger or badder than you. Then you turn around and say, "ooo potatoe chip!!" lol. So when the aliens land in their teleporter UFOs with death lasers, say good bye to your family. Food chain baby! Them aliens love the taste of human baby rump. Better hope that day doesnt come or youll have to revise your philosophy.
@CantWeedThis I never said potato chip. You went from saying animal life is as important as human life, to saying that you think its ok for bears to eat kids, to saying aliens will come with death lasers and eat my family, and I'm sure you wonder why people think vegans are crazy.
@WaCCo80 The problem is that you dont know what an analogy is. It is not ok for super advanced intelligent aliens to come and kill and eat your family. But according to you it is. Why? Because your logic implies this. You said that anything higher up on the food chain has the right to kill and eat anything below it for survival. Super advanced intelligent aliens are infact higher on the food chain than humans, so according to you they can justifiably murder humans and all other creatures below.
@WaCCo80 You justify your acts of murder by claiming "the food chain". By that exact same logic i can strap myself up with an ak47 and c4 some familys front door and blast them away. Just because i evolved the ability to shoot lead through flesh, just because im bigger, im badder, im more dangerous, im higher on the food chain therefore i have a right to kill anything below me. That kind of thinking is very scary.
@WaCCo80 If a bear decided to eat your baby human it would not be any different from you eating the baby bear. There will be the same squirming, and screeching, and pure hell in both events. There will be in both scenarios a loving parent watching their child as it ceases to exist in the most horrific suffering imaginable. Tell me again how these two events are any different besides your ego saying " NO, That ME child" The universe doesnt care about any life and we are all trapped in it forever
@CantWeedThis seriously? Bears eating people is the same as people eating bears? Wow this has got to be the dumbest debate I have ever been in. How does one respond to someone with such beliefs?
@WaCCo80 You wouldnt want to find out that one day the human race is an alien ant farm now would you. Thats the reality that cows, pigs, chickens ect are born into without consenting to such a horrific circumstance. Would you accept living in a cage your whole life just to get hooked and slit so you bleed to death. No. Nobody would. But we impose this horrer everyday for no good reason at all. Atleast certainly not for food. I flourish without eating meat, living proof.
@WaCCo80 Being hauled around by your tail before having a knife pierce your neck and slowly watching your blood flood out while squirming is what you call "dont even know what happened"? Thats just as bad as arguing to me that 2+2=5. Its just as glaringly wrong. Alcoholics and heroin addicts will tell you that theres no problem to the way they conduct their actions. But a sensible brain looking at them knows its just the addiction trying to rationalize itself. Eating meat is also an addiction.
@CantWeedThis weird when I worked in the stockyards in Nebraska that's not atall how we slaughtered the cattle. I think you seen too many peta videos those people are sick. Also I saw yur profile who are you to judge an alcoholic you're a pothead
@WaCCo80 There is no proper way to murder. I mean thats just silly. If i offer to wine and dine you before taking your life i dont think you would accept. Also i didnt judge an alcoholic i used an alcoholic as a factual example for the sake of argument without having to name all of the other destructive substances known to man. You could have substituted alcoholic with pothead if youd like. Its just that its known excessive alcohol destroys organs so thats why i used it.Potheads arent as relevant
EVERY GOD DAMN ANIMAL ON EARTH KILLS SOMETHING (yeah, plants are living beings too) TO EAT! And WHAT ARE WE? THAT'S RIGHT, ANIMALS! Killing just for the killing it's disgusting, killing to eat...it's just mother nature's way. Why can't you people get it? If other animals do it it's cause they're suppose to or are they disobeying God? (LOL). Not eating cause you just don't want or don't like it's fine, but jumping on other people's arses cause they do it's just fucking annoying!
Chitas and lions eat faster than that, and they it's still worth a running and a long hunt for them. So yeah, it's worth it for all animals that wan't to survive to kill othert living beings, like I said, even plants.
@4435123 Man you got it totally wrong: Do you have claws, pointed teeth and a super-short digestive system??? In case of that you must look frightening, Did you ever see an animal with flat teeth eating up other animals??? Come on!! ^^
That´s what you are, what I am: flat-teethed animals.
And the other thing is: Why do carnivores always think, "we" wanna convict them??? Dude I don´t care if you eat meat, shit or simply dump. But i can share my thoughts. You share yours too, ey?
Since you were so decent and polite (and I'm glad), I'll just say that I disagree with the justification you gave, but to put all of those arguments in here would be a pain in the ass, both for me and for you.
I get that, but there are people that really jump on other's asses, trust me. You may not be like that, but there others who are.
@4435123 I know, i got targeted by numerous "PC-people" times and times again. Many people take it too serious, but i guess "vegan missionaries" are kinda harmless. Think of Religions (all kinds), Multinational Corporations (food companies, electronic stuff, etc...), (underground-)Facist parties, TV-Stations, Media and so on. Their influence on our minds is way more dangerous and threatening. I agree, that arguing would be way too exhausting, and probably lead to nothing. Take care
@DrVarney What is the proper balance of rotting flesh to ingest? Seems like the meat eating world is chaos, everyone says something different. The one thing in common: everyone says, "STOP eating meat!" or at least slow WAY down. And yet peeps are eating more than ever. Another thing almost everyone in the world agrees on, "Eat WAY more fruits and veggies."
Dude, your arguments sux. Now, go make a video with honest and serious answers instead. If I say that I try to eat less meat and more organic food, who are you to say that in not.
humans are omnivores so they HAVE to eat BOTH meat and vegetables. Our body is not designed to extract the essential nutrients from just meat or just veggies.
Cows DO need to be milked!Have you any idea how painful it is?And also, have you heard of mastitis? And we need that calcium!
And the plant arguement is valid! You are being discriminative to certain forms of life! Are animals more important because you are an animal? How would you feel if you were a plant?Would u eat animals then?
@Ichthyologistic I don't eat animal products of any kinds. Hundreds of millions of peeps in the world prove you wrong everyday.
As to "humans are omnivores" well, scientists disagree. In fact one of the most notable scientists in the field of human evolution, who actually discovered of the principle of evolution, Charles Darwin concluded that man is herbivore.
Cows "need" to be milked b/c they were raped and the calves are stolen and slaughtered. Its called stealing and raping, not milking.
@FathomlessJoy you DO need dietary supplements when you dont eat animals or their products, because you WILL lack some basic ingredients..
If human is herbivore, then why has he been hunting for centuries? Hunting is a difficult and risky procedure, why go through the fuzz when you can just graze?
Also, humans have fangs! You know..fangs... to tear up meat...
And you still didnt answer the plant argument...
Im not trying to fight, i just want to tell my side of the story! :)
@Ichthyologistic "you DO need dietary supplements when you dont eat animals or their products, because you WILL lack some basic ingredients."
The only nutrient a well-planned vegan diet needs to worry about is B12... and that's a worry for EVERYONE, not just vegans. Most people with B12 deficiencies are not and never have been vegan. You should supplement with this vitamin regardless of what you eat.
@Ichthyologistic All kinds of great tasting veggies are loaded with calcium, and it is absobable, unlike that in bovine mammary secretion.
A better question: Why is it that the country that produces, promotes and consumes the most dairy in the world also has the highest rates of osteoporosis and bone cancer in the world?
@Ichthyologistic Fair enough. Here is the most interesting vid on the topic I have watched since I went vegan: watch?v=yfsT-qYeqGM What this study found was startling, and complete opposite from what they wanted to find.
I respect the fact that your a vegan and what not but you shouldn't attack people who eat meat and you should respect people's choice of food and I never use those comments as a vaild arguement so stop generalizing -_-
@dbz4everman 1. Must I remind you that most of the animals people eat are herbivores?
2. Eating meat contributes to heart disease, colon cancer, osteoporosis, diabetes, kidney disease, hypertension, obesity, and other medical conditions. All meat gives you is protein. And you can get that from beans, nuts, and eggs if you're a vegetarian.
3. It has been proven by the United Nations scientists that eating meat provides 40% more greenhouse gases than all the worlds transportation systems combined.
@dbz4everman haha organic fruits and veggies are entirely able to sustain a person healthy.
The use of animals for the consumption by people is without a doubt the biggest negative impact on the environment. There is sound evidence everywhere on that point. Even the United Nations said that.
Now would you feel good about your pets or any animal being ruthlessly abused their whole life and killed inhumanly just so you can enjoy a peice of meat? You are disrespecting urself and the earth.
@HannahBoo0123 1. humans have been eating meat for centuries, so it is natural to us. And humans are technically humans are animals
2. meat has way more benefits than protein. The red meat contains very high quantities of iron, when compared with plant origin foods.
3. you vegetarians still haven't backed up your "meat eating is the number one cause" declaration. Maybe you should do some research instead of looking like an idiot. But all vegans look like idiots.
@adamparker13 Evolving WHILE doing something isn't the same thing as evolving TO do something.
I have physically demanding "job," too, (geology/paleontology field work) that involves lots of desert hiking, dry camping and manual labor in 100+ degree weather. And guess what? I'm 100 percent vegan. No wilting here.
Homo Sapiens have canines and pyloric cecum that hints at an evolutionary history, hence a biology, that leans toward omnivory. Humans have evolved to eat meat, and there is phenotypic evidence to support this assertion.
@kriteekme show me your proof of the "phenotypic" evidence (while your at it search that fake word up) also go have a look at real canine teeth like the ones on a lion, just look at a carnivores teeth their agility. go catch that bunny you want to make rabbit soup with... oh and also eat it raw and live, unless you can find some other species that cook their meat...
I was in a class the other day where we were discussing whether it is ethical/excusable for humans to eat meat, and a lot of people said "Yes, because we would not be able to get our nutrition any other way." I'm in an Ivy League university, and being the only vegetarian in the room, the professor looked at me and asked me how I was still alive then. I only laughed.
I saw a vegan get thrown out of whole foods once for harassing people with her pretentious drivel. Nothing is more annoying than having some malnourished cigarette sucking hippie tell you what is and isn't healthy. Maybe in the next 10 years we can expect vegans to raid public restrooms just so that they can judge the hue of our feces. Seriously vegans, fuck off.
@LilMissVeganPagan Yep, you are right it does not make you better and so on. What I mean by elitist group is, there is no way that everybody can grow there own food, their are are too many people in the world. To think so is elitist. It costs money to have such land and to have such land is exclusive and makes you part of a priviliged class. You are welcome of course to your choice. My comments where to pushy Vegans. I myself am a Vegetarian for health reasons.
@sstan1337 last time i checked farmers were not elitist or high on the social class spectrum... also many vegans i know are apart of the punkrock community i dunno how elitist that is... oh or wait lets look back in time gladiators their elitist? and what is stopping you from cultivating a small garden in your yard or if you don't have room ask a friend or maybe go hiking and cultivate a secluded spot.. and as i've posted else where what came first food or money?
@guildlocked No, I am not saying Farmers are elitist. And when you look back in time the populations where much smaller. Now, there is not enough fertile land where everbody (in the world) can have there own little vegetable garden. To have such a garden in the present world is a privilege and puts you pretty high on a scale of the average world citizen. An "elite class" And food is definetly more important than money, of course. But, for now, food must be grown on big farms in masses.
@LilMissVeganPagan Well i guess you are excused but, you have to know that you are a minority. you are still grabing at straws. not everybody can do so. you are still part of an elitist group.
Dear pushy Vegans,Are you aware of how many animals are killed by harvests?Animals nest in feilds becase feilds have taken over much of there natural habitat.Mice,Birds(especialy the babys they can´t fly),snakes, toads all get chopped up when the combine starts.I guess if you eat vegetables or bread you are responsible.I do not stand for the careless treatment of animals or the waste of any food source but, suffering is a part of all life.Get a helmet tards.Come off your high horses we are animals

FathomlessJoy 3 months ago
As a meat eater, everybody has to come to a realization on their own. All any of you can do is present information and make people more aware. Oh course people are going to say dumb things because they don't know about vegans.
I've been a vegetarian(not all the way vegan) before it's not that bad.
Becoming a vegan from being a meat eater is a dramatic change, especially for the body. It's a hard transition) so try to support the meat eater to changing instead of criticizing

Every non vegetarian should aware... eating animal based food is breaking nature law or system! Collapsing nature is a big problem for our kids (next generation).

reggiefavre 3 months ago

You know what retarded things I've heard from vegans?
"If the whole world were vegan, we'd have world peace."
"We could feed the whole world if everyone were vegan."
"You should feel guilty for eating flesh."
DeadFishFactory 3 months ago
@DeadFishFactory
point 1: bullshit, i agree.
point 2: absolutely TRUE! ^^
point 3: decide for yourselves
DISTASTEgrind 3 months ago
@DISTASTEgrind The second one isn't true. We do have enough food to feed the world. The problem is transportation and funding, and even if we get it to the place that needs it most, it's still hard to stop it from going to those in power who are corrupt.
DeadFishFactory 3 months ago
@DeadFishFactory "If the whole world were vegan, we'd have world peace." Not sure about that, but I do know there will NEVER be peace in this world so long as animals are raped and tortured for the pleasure of an elite few.
"We could feed the whole world if everyone were vegan." You know that we feed 12 BILLION livestock animals per year? This is 200% more mouths to feed than humans; most livestock consumes more than humans.
"You should feel guilty for eating flesh." We need to see it as it is.
FathomlessJoy 3 months ago
@FathomlessJoy The grain we feed animals are inadequate for human consumption (unless you can digest coarse hay or whatever).
DeadFishFactory 3 months ago
@DeadFishFactory Actually that is where we get most of our oils, right? They are byproducts of the processed feed for livestock. So far as the real food, some slight modifications to the techniques now could make it human food by next harvest. The resources are there. Simple. If we eat meat then it is not that simple, because our biases want it complex, to avoid seeing the matter clearly. Turns out, the excuses folks use to torture animals and ingest rotting flesh are just that: excuses.
FathomlessJoy 3 months ago
@FathomlessJoy Less than 10% of total crop yield is fed to animals. And that 10% is the coarse grain, hay, and grass that we cannot digest (you do know that humans can't really digest cellulose, right?). I don't know of any modifications that would turn cellulose edible to humans. Must be some kind of super secret farmer's conspiracy.
DeadFishFactory 3 months ago 2

@DeadFishFactory 98% of the soybeans in the US, the world's largest producer of soy, is fed to the livestock you ingest. Most of the world's corn, wheat, oats, and potatoes are fed to livestock as well. Over half of the world's fresh water is used for livestock. Let's face it, furry friend, there are 16 billion extra mouths to feed and water, most of whom eat and drink FAR more than humans.
FathomlessJoy 3 months ago
@FathomlessJoy Probably never will there be world peace. But having NO respect for living, sentient non-humans we can never even be headed in that direction.
The video has me still laughing, I just got of the phone with a friend who uses 2-3 of these stupid arguments every timewe speak. His main argument tonite was "well, every society eats meat" which just left me speechless..... and this guy has a masters degree. Well, there's just no accounting for totally stupidity.
chainamarie03 3 months ago
@chainamarie03 Exactly, not only are we not moving toward world peace, we are actually moving away from it further every year. Peaceful, healthy, sane peeps simple do not commit mass torture and rape of animals like this.
About your friend, ever notice that sometimes he will let his cruel defenses down and explore the real possibilty of healthy and compassionate plant based living. Then in a week or a month, he has forgetten all about it, his mind falls right back into the same grove? Peace.
FathomlessJoy 3 months ago
@FathomlessJoy I'm really sad to have to say that he never even goes that far......he is stuck in a certain mind set and come hell or high water I don't think he is even capable of change. That makes me sad.

@chainamarie03 Yes, once I went a while without eating flesh it started to sicken me to smell it or see it. It is okay to respectfully decline to be around those who are cruel and unhealthy. And I was a hunter for many, many years.

vegans are stupid. Proof: modern humans didn't develop large, fully functional brains until the discovery of fire and the ability to cook meat. Meat provides nutrients to the body and more importantly the brain that nothing else can. If you really care about animals so much that you can accept being stupid, be my guest
skiwashington092 3 months ago
@skiwashington092 well said.
WaCCo80 3 months ago
@skiwashington092 Im not sure i can decipher from that what the exact argument is that youre trying to make for murder. Is it that you know meat to be of the most nutritional source of food for our species and so you think that alone can be your justification for imposing suffering on the innocent? We have "proof" of modern day vegetable eaters as well as those throughout human history who have gone virtually their entire lives without eating meat. Meat isnt necessary for human survival.
CantWeedThis 3 months ago
@skiwashington092 "Meat provides nutrients to the body and more importantly the brain that nothing else can" You're misinformed. In fact, rotting flesh is what is killing us. Man eventually learned to cook meat, because man is not a carnivore and the meat causes disease if not cooked, perhaps not right away but surely in most cases over time. But man knows now that cooking rotting animal flesh creates powerful carcinogens on the flesh that alter the DNA of the body's cells. Either way: disease.
FathomlessJoy 3 months ago
@skiwashington092 What u said just doesn't make sense. A true carnivore doesn't cook their 'meat'. A lion gulps down all the blood, skin, fur, etc, etc,. .....what makes for a fully functional brain is healthy food that nourishes the body and brain and the only healthy thing u get from flesh is what the cow 'ate'. So, cut out the middle part (the animal) and eat the healthy stuff yourself.
chainamarie03 3 months ago

You do not convert people by insulting them. All you're doing is chasing people away from the vegan lifestyle. You need to present facts in a respectful manner and withhold the judgment. This approach is exactly why nobody wants to listen to us. We want people to be drawn to the change not chased away from it. You're hurting the cause.
isabelzavoranu 4 months ago
@isabelzavoranu Often satire is used to expose major problems. Take for instance Jonathan Swift's, "A Modest Proposal."
I would like to learn more about your approach to this problem though. How do you personally help educate folks that animal rape and torture is an atrocity and eating diseased rotting flesh is unhealthy?
FathomlessJoy 3 months ago
@FathomlessJoy It's not about what you think. It's about the people you are trying to get through to. Scolding them about the atrocities only sends them running away. They feel like they are being judged and that makes them angry. You want to be someone that meat-eaters can come to when they finally decide to change their lifestyle. Nobody likes admitting that they were wrong. They need to feel safe. You have to be that haven for them.
isabelzavoranu 3 months ago
@FathomlessJoy What I do is tell people about how much better I feel after cutting meat out of my diet. I have more energy, I don't have to squirt Afrin up my nose every night in order to breath, my allergies have gone away, and I've discovered a whole new world of delicious recipes. People seem to respond very well to that.

saying you're going to kill innocent children is pretty extreme. I liked the video. I just didn't like that part it implied that meat eaters are somehow evil.
WaCCo80 4 months ago
@WaCCo80 It is infact morally wrong to impose suffering and death on innocent sentient creatures who came into existence the same way you did but had an unlucky roll of the dice. So meat eaters may not be conscious that they are evil but from a perspective of ultimate truth we know that they are unwittingly being evil and barbaric despite the fact that they have a brain that has the ability to perform logic and reach the right conclusion. We can survive without murdering to eat, so why not do it
CantWeedThis 4 months ago
@CantWeedThis eating meat and murdering children can never be compared as equal evils. Humans do have the ability to think and that's why you should've known that. I had domino's for dinner along with my beautiful loving children . That don't mean we are an evil family and give so militant vegan the right to harm us. Its groups like peta who has admitted to funding terrorist like the alf, that help ensure most people will never give up meat because the "face" of the movement is bad people.
WaCCo80 4 months ago
@WaCCo80 You say "eating meat" as though its a harmless activity. There was suffering and death of an equally conscious creature in order to provide you dinner. Consciousness is one thing in all creatures humans included. Its an awareness, a fear of pain and death. Just because you can drive a gas powered automobile and live in a house made of trees does not entitle your baby human any more right than a baby cow in avoiding the exact same feeling of pain and agony. So avoid suffering at all cost
CantWeedThis 4 months ago
@CantWeedThis there you go again saying that animals are equal to humans. Its simply not true, its called the food chain and on land we are on top. I can't believe I'm even having a conversation like this haven't you ever hunted or fished? Nothing evil about that, but that's eating animals.
WaCCo80 4 months ago
@WaCCo80 So from that response we can conclude that you do not care about suffering. Not only that but you piss on suffering. The fact remains that you and your family could thrive off of healthy and enjoyable meals that dont involve needless suffering. You then are selfishly choosing for no good reason to murder. But why then, just because meat tastes good? And you cant spend 15 minutes to figure out how to get protein from something besides the flesh of your fallen comrades?
CantWeedThis 4 months ago
@CantWeedThis I don't think theirs anything wrong with eating meat. Even if I did have you seen the price of the vegetables and vegan food its crazy expensive my aunt is a vegan and she will be the first to tell you it was the most expensive change she ever made, but like you she don't mind paying cuz she is huge into loving animals.
WaCCo80 4 months ago
@CantWeedThis by that logic of strapping up with ak's ans killing people is murder and evil nothing like killing livestock for food.
WaCCo80 4 months ago
@WaCCo80 what? huh? LOLOL! I just typed a whole paragraph for you making a logical analogy showing how silly your "food chain" argument is because it doesnt apply to anything bigger or badder than you. Then you turn around and say, "ooo potatoe chip!!" lol. So when the aliens land in their teleporter UFOs with death lasers, say good bye to your family. Food chain baby! Them aliens love the taste of human baby rump. Better hope that day doesnt come or youll have to revise your philosophy.
CantWeedThis 4 months ago
@CantWeedThis I never said potato chip. You went from saying animal life is as important as human life, to saying that you think its ok for bears to eat kids, to saying aliens will come with death lasers and eat my family, and I'm sure you wonder why people think vegans are crazy.
WaCCo80 3 months ago

CantWeedThis 4 months ago
@WaCCo80 If a bear decided to eat your baby human it would not be any different from you eating the baby bear. There will be the same squirming, and screeching, and pure hell in both events. There will be in both scenarios a loving parent watching their child as it ceases to exist in the most horrific suffering imaginable. Tell me again how these two events are any different besides your ego saying " NO, That ME child" The universe doesnt care about any life and we are all trapped in it forever
CantWeedThis 4 months ago
@CantWeedThis seriously? Bears eating people is the same as people eating bears? Wow this has got to be the dumbest debate I have ever been in. How does one respond to someone with such beliefs?
WaCCo80 4 months ago

Eating meat is also an addiction.

humans are omnivores so they HAVE to eat BOTH meat and vegetables.
Ichthyologistic 4 months ago
@Ichthyologistic I don't eat animal products of any kinds. Hundreds of millions of peeps in the world prove you wrong everyday.
As to "humans are omnivores" well, scientists disagree. In fact one of the most notable scientists in the field of human evolution, who actually discovered of the principle of evolution, Charles Darwin concluded that man is herbivore.
Cows "need" to be milked b/c they were raped and the calves are stolen and slaughtered. Its called stealing and raping, not milking.
FathomlessJoy 4 months ago

Vegans are dumb and so are you. Dumb things vegans say: 1. Meat is murder- than animals are murderes since they eat each.
2. Meat is unhealthy- but meat provides a ton of health benefits veggies and fruits can't
3. Meat eating is the number one cause of global warming-right but you can't back that up.
And your video shows you are very dumb as well.

You are disrespecting urself and the earth.
hillseeker09 4 months ago 2
@dbz4everman 1. Animals are Carnivores, they have to eat meat. humans are omnivores, we eat plants, OR meat.
2. The only benefit that meat have is protein, and b12, and A LOT of fruits and veggies have those -.-
3.you can back that up that it ISN'T.
DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE SAYING STUPID COMMENTS
HannahBoo0123 4 months ago

Humans have evolved to eat meat, and there is phenotypic evidence to support this assertion.
kriteekme 4 months ago

1776Wulf 4 months ago
@LilMissVeganPagan Yep, you are right it does not make you better and so on. What I mean by elitist group is, there is no way that everybody can grow there own food, their are are too many people in the world. To think so is elitist. It costs money to have such land and to have such land is exclusive and makes you part of a priviliged class. You are welcome of course to your choice. My comments where to pushy Vegans. I myself am a Vegetarian for health reasons.
sstan1337 4 months ago
@sstan1337 last time i checked farmers were not elitist or high on the social class spectrum... also many vegans i know are apart of the punkrock community i dunno how elitist that is... oh or wait lets look back in time gladiators their elitist? and what is stopping you from cultivating a small garden in your yard or if you don't have room ask a friend or maybe go hiking and cultivate a secluded spot.. and as i've posted else where what came first food or money?
guildlocked 4 months ago
@guildlocked No, I am not saying Farmers are elitist. And when you look back in time the populations where much smaller. Now, there is not enough fertile land where everbody (in the world) can have there own little vegetable garden. To have such a garden in the present world is a privilege and puts you pretty high on a scale of the average world citizen. An "elite class" And food is definetly more important than money, of course. But, for now, food must be grown on big farms in masses.
sstan1337 4 months ago
@LilMissVeganPagan Well i guess you are excused but, you have to know that you are a minority. you are still grabing at straws. not everybody can do so. you are still part of an elitist group.
sstan1337 4 months ago
This video just proves how much of pretentious assholes most of vegans are. I'm enjoy meat and vegetables. How's that?

Dear pushy Vegans,Are you aware of how many animals are killed by harvests?Animals nest in feilds becase feilds have taken over much of there natural habitat.Mice,Birds(especialy the babys they can´t fly),snakes, toads all get chopped up when the combine starts.I guess if you eat vegetables or bread you are responsible.I do not stand for the careless treatment of animals or the waste of any food source but, suffering is a part of all life.Get a helmet tards.Come off your high horses we are animals
