Ive always thought MH was destined 2b a MMO, its got all the makings for it. Now that there is one, Im just really annoyed and gutted that its only for Japan. I guess at the same time I cant blame them, western gamers arnt too bothered bout MH really, well the mainstream that is, and its ashame, cus I know theres still a respectable western fan base that follows this awesome series of games. Im saying that mainstream western gamers mostly dont favor games like MH. CoD, sport and racing games, most generally fps games appeal to western gamers. @gravios24 CoD was good yrs ago, but the standard of this franchise has dropped completley now, its more overrated than anything else, so I will call it low gimmick. Atleast games like MH offer so much more in what u can do, the amount of armor customization options, its just so much fun. Its fantasy its not based on reality like CoD, but so what, I like games that r fun regardless whether they r based on reality or not. But so many want realism in everything today, thats how it is.

@thedarkstar1able Can't do that. You need to be in Japan as it's a paid monthly subscription service to play. I have heard of people getting onto the Korean servers, but you have to be careful. If they figure out you aren't Korean it's an instant ban. Haven't heard of anyone getting into Japan's servers at all.

it doesn't make sense that this is on xbox .... why not ps3 MH started on ps2 and is most popular on psp so ps3 version would make perfect sense... maybe its capcoms deal with microsoft for example Lost Planet and Dead Rising but there was a port for the first LP so ...blows my mind

@cymraeganimefan You do know that Frontier uses the same engine as the PS2 version on MH right? So technically they ported it from PS2 to PC and then to the 360. A lot of people are speculating that MHP3 might be the last MH that will be on a Sony Platform.

It's not that awesome though. Stuck on HR 30 on beta, the shengao is so powerful for a 4 star quest. 4 guys with average crap fail to repel it. 3 guys with good stuff fail to repel it. It takes 4 guys with really good stuff to repel it. Killing it is hard. Not to mention that people won't really join your quest and help.

When capcom announced this games release, there was a confirmation of it coming to the U.S, however they're getting the a full version and we get only the beta in the summer. Who knows when well get the full version cause japan are always asshole about not letting other people test it out before they do.
