There are a lot of great shots in there. I particularly liked the way you tried to capture the rotifer extending its corona. It's hard. I also liked your choice of music and how brightfield can be used to good effect by someone who knows the subjectmatter.
Great work! I am compiling a movie much like it but can't seem to turn of the automatic camera settings that turn the color yellow. You did a fantastic job with this though!
Stunning! Wonderful! Beautiful! Liked how you gave different magnifications to give perspective on these life forms. ... Glad I stayed to the end: liked the rolling "credits". All together well-done!
Thank you - it was fun putting it together. The music is the 3rd movement of Beethoven's Piano Sonata no.14, the 'Moonlight' sonata - I felt it nicely echoed the level of activity you see in microscopic pond life.
amazing results for that kind of equipment! Anyway you collected good probes and you know what you´re doing, because you show a wide variety of cells and beeings. Thank you!
Thanks! I used a very cheap Bresser microscope from my local supermarket, and an equally cheap Biolam Lomo salvaged from eBay (and given lots of TLC!). The camera is mostly a modified Philips Vesta Pro webcam, or sometimes the cheapo camera that came with the Bresser. Photos processed in PaintshopPro, movie compiled with Windows Movie Maker.
this sucks

Thank you - the last few organisms are, I think:
Hydra, actinophrys sol (two images), actinosphaerium sp?, coleps (the barrel-shaped thing), gastrotrich (furry-looking), and daphnia.

Great work! One of my favorite videos on this site. Who's the composer/what's the name of this classical piece?
