So tyrafromsaigons flares on the skratchlopwedia are not a type of "Delayed Flare".

This is exactly what she is doing.She does it on the scrathlopedia breaktannica and also at the qsu. I also know 2 other variations/types of delayed flare.

Also if you listen,i get 4 notes on the first part followed by 2 notes on the back.

@djmrmystic Yo m1...^Yep the autobahn is comin soon.i have that down now,but have never ever used it in any of my practice vids but im definately gonna do a video on it.

As for Q's sounding different,Yep they do..They sound totally different.

***But*** I can also do them Q's way.which i actually learnt 1st of all..

They are the exact same Scratch believe it or not.If you write down qberts delayed flares on paper as a diagram and compare them to tyra's,they are exactly the same.

Every scratch can timed different and people go woah!! Wtf was that..

Q doesnt delay his by starting with a pull back slice(reverse Slice) which makes tyras delayed..

He lets the record go,and then does a regular 2 click flare orbit a tad later than usual which makes it delayed..

Its just his variation of the delayed flare.

Hope you kinda understand M1..Its hard to explain with text haha1!

@Muelus Isn't Q's delayed flare a 5 note skratch instead of 6, and the jack hammer a 7 note skratch? The Jack hammer adding a baby in the delayed part.

And his jack hammer is a fbf baby followed by a 2 click flare or a delyed flare(whatever takes your fancy)

What makes the jack hammer is the quick FBF on the record.3 notes rapid!!!! followed by anything you want to..

My own version/variation of the jack hammer is... FBF (Quickly)... 1 click flare forward ......1(3 finger crab) crab back .(9 notes total) but its over within second ha!!.

Hi, your diagram in the video shows a 2 click flare orbit, 3 sounds forward, 3 sounds backwards. At the end of the video you are doing orbits, not tyra flares: which are two sounds backwards and 3 sounds forward. She purposely mis-times her 4 clicks to achieve 5 sounds, rather than 6 as you would get with a regular orbit. To do Tyra's, transform the reverse sound twice leaving fader on, then push sound forward closing fader twice, leaving fader closed, ready for the reverse. Peace my friend ;-)

@JBLAZE999 Nup,Tyra flares are just a regular orbits,starting with a slice,(Back to Forward) Thats what makes it delayed..Without the slice its a regular oribit.

Believe what you like,But i broke one of her videos down at the Qsu And thats what she exactly does :)

@JBLAZE999 Its funny you saw it that way because if you look at the graph without the reverse slice in the front it's an orbit. Because you start reverse slice closed fader it changes the swing of the skratch. At least thats how I have to look at it After getting these down I checked out the tyra method on QSU and this is it. You can see it easy if you know what to look for.

i do mine starting with a "closed fader "FBF Boomerang-3notes

But There are many variations to the autobahn.

Im think im ready to do a little tutorial on how i do them which might help you. I can break it into 3 parts easily.

@koldkuts2 hey..its pretty straight forward.. the hard part was working out what she was doing. I just studied one her videos at the qsu..

I didnt show it really slow because i did the diagram.. Just practice it real slow and you will get it..
