@ererye according to some articles I've read about there was a galleon trade between mexico and philippines for 300 years that was during the spanish colonial era therefore some mexicans can trace their roots here in the philippines same as some Filipinos. When I got here in Korea in 2008 I saw a lot of Filipino workers working in factories and etc. Koreans admire Filipinos for their hard work. My father is in the US Navy station in the Philippines in 1988-1991, but since my father retired we decided to stay in the Philippines for a while. Not too long my dad went back to US and me and my mother stayed in Philippines. I like it. I grew up there and went to a public school; because my mom wanted me to experienced what life is. At the age of 13 my dad came back and took me.

This is very one-sided. We are very focused on the bad side. I know we have a lot of good things to share to the world. If we keep on dwelling on these not-so-good things that we see everyday, we not only hinder development but we also hinder the emergence of hope. Corruption is everywhere and I can say that I pay high taxes on every paycheck I received from work. But, I can't complain. Yes, we have lots of problems in our country, but it doesn't mean that the good side must be left unnoticed.

@ererye according to some articles I've read about there was a galleon trade between mexico and philippines for 300 years that was during the spanish colonial era therefore some mexicans can trace their roots here in the philippines same as some Filipinos. When I got here in Korea in 2008 I saw a lot of Filipino workers working in factories and etc. Koreans admire Filipinos for their hard work. My father is in the US Navy station in the Philippines in 1988-1991, but since my father retired we decided to stay in the Philippines for a while. This is very one-sided. We are very focused on the bad side. I know we have a lot of good things to share to the world. If we keep on dwelling on these not-so-good things that we see everyday, we not only hinder development but we also hinder the emergence of hope. Corruption is everywhere and I can say that I pay high taxes on every paycheck I received from work. But, I can't complain. Yes, we have lots of problems in our country, but it doesn't mean that the good side must be left unnoticed.

Thank you very much to the Korean who wrote this essay. It is true: without love, there will be corruption. And therefore to fight corruption, we need love. It's just that most of us lose hope, because the higher people never set good examples for us. Therefore, we should initiate on our own. :)

kung magbabago ang tingin mo sa pilipinas at sa pagka-pilipino mo, buong pilipinas at maging ang mga taong naririto ay magbabago. at sa pamamagitan nun magiging halimbawa ka ng isang tunay na pilipinong dpt pamarisan. at kabaliktaran naman ang mangyayari kapag hanggang ngayon wala ka pa ring tiwala sa pagka-pilipino mo at sa sarili mong bansa. manalig ka kabayan! cheers!!

sa tingin ko, ang pagbabago ng isang bansa ay nagisisimula sa sarili at sa sambahayan. hindi nga magsisimula ang tuluyang pagbabago ng isang bansa sa isang tao lamang, pero sa isang tao pwedeng magsimula ang pagbabago. pwedeng magbago ang pilipinas sa uri ng pagkatao at pagkapilipino mo kung magbabago ka at magiging makabayan sa sarili mong paningin. ang haba amen!
