@centreman41 Probably at least! The track speed on this straight stretch from east edge of Ottawa to northwest of Casselman is 100 MPH, and the equipment on that train is fully capable of that.

At 0:08, are those the crossings for Dunning and Russland Rd? I think when I was living there (mid 90's), there were no gates.

@saintjohnrailfan That's right! And a fellow from Vars once told me that they didn't even have gates at the crossings in the village until recently...

From what I can remember, Rockland Rd?(main road through Vars), and Devine Rd (road that I actually used to live on) didn't have gates, but I thought the other crossing in the town had gates, but I could be wrong.
