Yes... all he needs is reasonable/probable cause during THAT stop. He would have had to see something during that stop that gave him reason. Past record isn't probably cause. Did the driver appear under the influence? Did he smell any drugs? Was the driver driving erratically. If not, something like that he didn't have probably cause and would have required a warrant.

Someone in the department was straight up to not tell you dash-cam was not working. @Forestrees1234 We honestly do know what happened to this guy here. He got pissed off and flipped out because the man wouldn't let him illegally search his car for drugs without a warrant. The cop already knew he was charged with maryjane just one time. Cops are dirty, he was going to drop a bag in the mans' vehicle. The cop figured he was charged once..this arrest would be a slam dunk. But it didn't work to his advantage. This comment about cops being human..that's debatable.

What I'm saying is that we don't know for sure what was going on in this officers life. Sometimes people flip out at other people for little things like this, because something has happened to them. Something happened to him, and that has probably got him on edge.

Like I said, when you are angry about something you try to hide it, but when someone pisses you off you lash out.

How very sad. From my experience with Police, this is not unusual to see them act this way. Glad you were able to obtain police dash-cam video. Someone in the department was straight up to not tell you dash-cam was not working. Every time I hear about a Police having to shoot and kill a citizen, I do not believe we ever know what really happened. This Person should not have access to a weapon, as the fact that he dose not have control of his actions.

ROFL! The cop does NOT need a warrant to search your car. All he needs is "probable cause". If he saw a bag of weed, a joint, a weapon, or something suspicious of that nature. A cop can also search your car if a dog "flags" your car. Do a little reading before you tell a cop he needs to do something he doesn't, because that WILL piss him off and bad shit happens then. I hate bad cops but they can screw you over.

They really make it bad for other cops. That being said, the POLS are a bigger problem, passing stupid revenue generating schemes, and forcing cops to participate in usurping the rights of citizens in the name of money, yet not always making those laws quite clear.
