Hey Ariel, if you like the heavy stuff, you should try The Big 4 (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax). For Metallica, Maybe it would be cool to see Motorbreath, Battery, or One. For Megadeth, maybe Tornado of Souls or Peace Sells. (More shredding in Peace Sells) For Anthrax, Either Indians, Madhouse, or I Am The Law. And finally for Slayer, Angel of Death or World Painted Blood. IMO, it would be nice to see a thrasher that is a girl. I don't see very many around YT.

@Dtyler171 I turned 18 August 30th :) all the bands i love arn't underrated so i'm not sure! as far as overrated, most of pop, i love it but i so wish there were real instruments in it haha i love modeling (haha i'm too short for runway but print is fun!) are you a guitarist too? :)

I can certainly relate about Randy Rhoads. When Ozzy's first album came out, I heard Crazy Train on the radio. The guitar grabbed my attention--"Who is that?" Went out, bought the album and was amazed. Randy was an overnight sensation, everyone buzzing about him, all the magazines writing about him. I was lucky to see him concert during the Diary Of A Madman tour. What a show that was! Randy Rhoads RIP.

@ANOTHERHOLEINYOHEAD I use alternate picking, you can go much faster, altho when i started i couldnt alternate pick, it took a little while to get down, keep playing and shredding will come!

And its great to see a girl who appreciates the original players. Nowadays bands like slayer and other just go for speed and stuff. Randy was all about originality and incorporated so many ideas into his music. He actually made art whereas nowadays people just try to be the biggest and the baddest. Great taste in music :)

I think you should explore some Ibanez or BC Rich's if you like metal. Fender's, for the most part, dont fit quite the right sound. The only fender i like is the John 5 custom Fender Telecaster. Right now im saving up for a BC Rich Bich which has an amazing metal sound and a BC Rich Mockingbird. Both of those im getting are the pro models. To hear them check out the band Black Veil Brides. The guitars have great tones. But u rock with those squirers :) cant wait to hear the new stuff :D

I have like five or six nice guitar original melodies that I made over the course of about six months or so. For some reason I really like metal and whatnot, but the music I make usually is made for a more acoustic setting, it's kind of weird. But hey! You said you sang! Any advice for me? I'm shy to sing, so idk what to do:(

I think I sing decent if I usually try to, but how about this question. How did you learn how to sing and play guitar all synchronized and whatnot? I try, but it's hard to maintain tempo. @Skydiveseas Well when i started playing i was forced to both sing and play so i kinda learned to do both from the beginning but if you have trouble sing and play with the track so you know where you are and then after the first million times thru it becomes easier haha send the link!
