My son just got out of the Army last May [ 2010 ]..He was a Special Forces medic [ Green Beret ] with two tours in the sandbox. Keep looking out for yourself and go home to your loved ones. Not a day goes by that I don't think about my time in the Corps...It DOES stay with you forever.. SEMPER FI !!!!!!!!!!!!!

mines Hs->Marine Corps->college...but yeah your plan is good you'll get more opportunitys for instance you gotta go to college for 4 years to be a pilot in the Marine Corp. Thats what i wanted to do but instead i couldn't so i'm gonna stick around in infantry. =P you could also be an officer. it just depends on what you want to do but id say stay in school

@iNeedXP Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery, it is a written or computer test that grades how smart you are and what jobs in the USMC you qualify for. the higher you score the more jobs you can choose from, so do your best on it. You can get books to study for it at the book store, but it is high school leveled so you should know it all on there.

15 more months till i am 18.
And i will join The Marines or the Navy. I have been getting fit for my bootcamp for 1 year already im gonna go in too bootcamp as a beast. and i have very good knowledge of the marines and the navy.

mines Hs->Marine Corps->college...but yeah your plan is good you'll get more opportunitys for instance you gotta go to college for 4 years to be a pilot in the Marine Corp. Thats what i wanted to do but instead i couldn't so i'm gonna stick around in infantry. =P you could also be an officer. it just depends on what you want to do but id say stay in school

@OLIT54 well thats not entirly right. its wrong because some people might be scared. yes just about every soldier on deployment or being deployed soon is scared but there are many forms of fear. it might be fear of failure that soldiers have and fear of success that people who are forced to join have. i personally have fear of not making it through bootcamp. but yes it is betraying your country in a sense. but they dont need to be shot. just told why they need to serve

From an ex Air Force O-3, this is one freakin' GREAT video. Thanks for posting it. I worked with the Marines several times during my service, and grew to love them all. The USA should be grateful to have the Marines, because when the sh** hits the fan, no other fighting force on earth can respond as fast and furious, and open a bigger can of whoopass than the Devil Dogs. Ooo-rah and Semper Fi !!!

@iNeedXP Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery, it is a written or computer test that grades how smart you are and what jobs in the USMC you qualify for. the higher you score the more jobs you can choose from, so do your best on it. You can get books to study for it at the book store, but it is high school leveled so you should know it all on there.
