I got out of FFXI 4 years ago after I couldn't stand the grind anymore, but I found it extremely hard to go back because even when I joined the game, everyone was already toward end-game. I'm willing to give this a shot, just because I'll be on the same page as so many other players at release. (Also, pretty cool that all players will be on the same page at release.)

A part of me actually misses auto-translating and typing in romaji. Nostalgia.

There's a mithra in this video as well, at the center of the bubble. Though Galka are tail-less here. Ironic that SE made only 2 distinct comments about rapture before this trailer, that it wouldn't necessarily be a Final Fantasy game and it was definitely not a sequel to XI. Seems that both are incorrect.

they can definatly do a totaly diffrent story in a diffrent world with the races from ffxi. i am happy that i will not have to leave my galka behind when the "rapture" comes
