Also If i Can Remember Clearly Nickelodeon and Paramount Comedy 1 Shared the Same Channel and It was Ch 22

ComTel didn't carry Paramount for a good few years during the 90s IIRC. All you got was an encrypted Videocrypt signal after 7pm but you could still listen to Paramount though (they seemed to never bother putting the channel guide up). I never understood why it was never available considering it was a very popular channel during the 90s. Luckily my mum had Sky rather than cable (my grandparents had that).

On ComTel in Oxford, this channel appeared on any channel you didn't subscribe too.

Another thing, BBC 1/2, ITV (we had Central and Meridian), C4 and Five weren't available on the cable box. You had to tune them in on your TV set instead.

i used to have telewest what annoyed me tho is there were too many shared channels and it would skip channels that used to be there. can you remeber what used to be on ch37?
