There aren't any universal "miracles" for stuttering -- nothing makes it disappear. I suspect, there are several root causes to the problem; for most people who stutter (and who don't stutter) slowing rate makes a measurable difference in fluency. Many PWS who are anxious about speaking, don't slow down enough... they think they are going slower but their anxiety exaggerates and distorts their perception of their rate. its a good technique... and i think its difficult to maintain.. but.. its very help... i will really take steps to slow down my speech rate... :)
