@hydroponikroniksmoke ummm i would say hell no to the steel pipe bomb your talking about. might as well stand infront of that shrapnel. My friends and i have made ones out of Copper pipe before. Just crimped the ends of the pipe so the pipe didnt explode but release the forces out of the ends. still loud, still bright, but no shrapnel. even pvc pipe is dangerous.

try artillery shells( the little things that go in the air and make pretty lights) take them apart and get all the powder and seal it in something and pack it down tight. we use the tubes they come with and fill them to the top
