They didn't say what the "bank" does with the deposits. Do they give out loans? What about interest? The information was not enough, I want to know more facts and numbers. If they just keep the money it is not a bank, it is rather a safe. Anyway, good idea to teach kids to save money and build entrepreneurial skills for business.

@CapitalistOverlord i was being facetious :P but kiva orgs have helped many people out of poverty already look it up. by making them able to save money take out loans and having access to banking services. Its a bottom up solution. the state isnt helping them out of poverty.
