@xxTaKe2xx Usually the original author gets a certain share of the profit/revenues when his song is commercially used by someone else. It's completely normal and legal. About 50% of all current chart songs are cover versions of songs from the 80ies, 90ies or earlier. The funny thing with the Baseballs is, they make an "old version of a new song" instead of the other way round.
