  • But the three strikes law has nothing to do with getting out the first OR second time. That would happen regardless of the 3 strikes law. The 3rd strike would send them to jail for the minimum sentence of 25 for commiting murder in addition to extra time because of the 3rd strike law.

  • i wish it were a 1 strike law. you do violent felony uoir butt should go to prison for life freakin losers

  • Dude have you EVEN seen the three strike laws? If you kill soembody, you get one strike. IF YOU KILL SOMEBODY. You should go to prison for LIFE. Not getanother chance to maybe, umm let's see. CONTINUOUSLY sexual abuse a child till they get their second strike. The three strikes law is TOO soft on criminals. And tax payers SHOULDN'T pay for the criminals. The criminals should work their ass offs to pay for theirself being in prison.

  • i just want to let you know that even with the three strikes law you still go to prison you idiot!! you dont get let out

  • then why do people who steal cookies, pizza, old tires and other petty crimes get life in prison?

  • They ALREADY deserve life imprisonment.

  • The three strikes law doesn't make it so you have to get convicted of 3 felonies to go to jail. It's just another possible way, if you get convicted of murder, you can still get 25 to life the very first time.

  • Yes, but you can also get let out. Then you can commit murder AGAIN, and get let out again. And then the legal system thinks you won't learn your lesson so you go to jail for life for any possible crime commited.

  • No, if you kill someone it's an automatic 2 strikes..
