People hated this because they don't understand real horror. Imagination also means being able to put yourself into the situation to a degree. Trapped in a box with creatures, and if you go outside, you'll die jus as quickly.
TheTrueDiablix they didn't try to launch the rocket secretly, that would be like hiding an elephant in you're house from the cops. Anyways everyone knew the rocket was lifting off but they didn't know they were going to the moon, NASA said it was just to check the satellite, but you never know.
wasn't "aliens/life out space" supposed to have technology that's out of humans imagination so i don't blame people not believing and i don't think the people in charge would easily let the society know.
As one of the maybe 1percent of the American population who has seen a substantial amount of moon footage, I can say that aside from the actual creatures, the style of filming in this movie is stunningly realistic. It looks a hell of a lot like real footage. Also, if you pay attention to the lines, they pretty much have Nasa's code words down cold! I personally think they must have gotten help from astronauts to make this movie.
