You do not need buyers or sellers to be scams, some of those are even arrested. While Ebay and Paypal is the biggest scammer and has many complaints on BBB and others is free to operate with immunity from prosecution for its criminal tactics.

Do you really think ebay will protect average ebay users? they make money from big sellers not from average Joe users (they also make money if you dont sell in your listing with fees). Yep! I did it 2 years ago....a few months later in August they increased my store listings from 3 cents a month to 6 cents a month...500% fee increase.

I calculate buyers and sellers end up in disputes on Ebay every 7 transactions. Paypal and Ebay delays 180 days to resolve big disputes. After a dispute someone is gonna end up banned or suspended as you know big power sellers eat small buyers and sellers.

If you want to keep it safe never use your real name, real address, real bank statement, specially if you are a big seller (because you can lose it at anytime). Suspend or hold accounts doesn't terminate with fraud and Ebay dishonesty period.

I understand your argument when your are a member of ebay but when you are not a member anymore?. When you are not member anymore and your balance fall to zero(this is my case) there is no reason to keep you suspended or banned (technically DELETED) or worst keep you as a member with all your personal data stored in ebay servers. Paypal is not a bank or a credit card institution your balance is not FDIC insured. So do you want me to pay for garbage? I can return anytime i want to paypal and ebay but i am not interested anymore they are the real scammers because they tolerate FRAUD by sellers and buyers. The first 30 days i followed the friendly channels, in my case 3 step was the only way to stop fraud and abuses on Ebay: 1. emails & call the seller, 2. submit a complaint via paypal & ebay then wait & wait, 3. Submitting a complaint in your local bank closing your account to avoid unwanted charges & frozen accounts all this before 30 days. In my case they come to a resolution after 6 months on Ebay YES this is the truth.
