the strumming pattern is all down strokes with accents. If you count like this, "1 2 3, 1 2 3, 1 2" and accent the "1"s it should sound right (that's not the time signature, its just a way of counting to feel where the accents should be)

Just in case you are searching for these chords by what he says...

Whenever he says Asus, it is actually an Am7 chord or B-flat minor7 without the capo.
