  • In the Army my buddy had Bose tall rectangular speakers and we CRANKED it up for this one!!! They could here it in the Mess Hall which was a football field away! I love Bread but my favorite is "It Don't Matter To Me" truly beautiful words, sentiment, orchestration of vocals and guitar etc just beautiful, as is all their music. Makes me sick to see what passes for "music" today!

  • @chasyes1 Got THAT right!

  • Bread is one of the coolest soft rock bands to ever hit the charts.( Dudes even like them) Though some may say their commercial success on the radio was mediocre at best, the fact remains the same " Everyone remembers Bread.. I personally rank them with the best of Icons. But that's just me .

I wil pray for you tonigt. I Love Jesus.

  • Night after night who keeps you going??? It's always the guitar man.

  • I wouldn't mind going back to the 70s, but on one condition: if I could only go back with what I know now. I think I would enjoy it a lot more.

  • Love the way the guitar speaks to you....wawawawa.....

  • This was written about Duane Allman.

  • @kevinlcpc Seriously?

  • Great song, one of the best pop ballads from 70's

  • One of the first songs I learned to play on guitar back in the 70's. I still have the middle school talent show brochure from the talent show I won with this song. James Taylor Fire and Rain was my next song....

  • we need music like this back in 2012

  • Dark times in the UK when this song came out, I think that's why songs like this were hits, not just because they're beautiful songs but they help us to forget the **** our world/country/life is in. I play in a cover band doing this era music and we're really getting big crowds recently....

  • One doesn't hear this much now a days; thank heaven for UPCHUNKY and you-tube.

    .

    Cheers.

    from,

  • GODDAMNIT! I want to live in the 70's!

  • @markd325 There were many good aspects of living in the seventies, but there were bad as well. All in all, live life now as if there is little of it left and love the people around you who deserve it.

  • @markd325 great music, horrible pants!

  • @markd325 I did live in the 70's. It was wonderful, but lasted much too short.

  • @markd325 Amen brother!!!!!

  • @markd325 no you don't - now is much better

  • @markd325 I was there. Yes, the 70's rocked. My life was that 70's show. We stood up, spoke out, took our stand, had pet rocks, our most popular toys were Slinky and Slime . . . we, as a people, need to make every generation matter.

  • those were the days.....

  • @MrDmollinga the good ole days of tv zenith consoles, green carpet and shag rugs, the wooden fork and spoon on the wall, the black kitty cat clock with the moving eyes and tail, bell bottoms, brady bunch, records the size of flying saucers, wicker furniture, cars so big they had a porch and attic, and afros...........................and I wasnt born til 72!

  • Can you imagine what the LA music scene must have been like in the early to mid-70's? The creative process with so many talented musicians must have been incredible. From a music standpoint, I feel so lucky to have grown up in the 60's & 70's.

  • @jarden69 I grew up in LA during that time frame and it was great growing up in Southern Cal..back then, the best things in life were free...I left back in 2004 and now live in NM. I would never go back now, sad to say, its been trashed. But I will always have the sweet memories of growing up their..always. And songs like this bring back dreams of my earlier life

  • @jarden69 I grew up in the 60s and 70s, best times to grow up!!!! Everything seemed easier then. Cars was pretty, music was great!!!! my dad made 25,000 in 1972. I thought we were rich, but we where middle class and had and have a wonderful family.
