This song instills everything of which we strive to achieve in love... A subtle tranquility, an everlasting love and a appreciation of the love that surrounds us, whether it's our spouse or our children and if we have a deeper understanding of love maybe we have found that we had not very far to look for love to begin with?? Great song and a beautiful video, thank you!
Some of us learn this lesson the hard way by looking in the wrong places when it was in front of us all the time... Many thanks fnorple for a great video and song, and to you csps65 for the most pertinent of comments.
I my friend have learned most lessons hard. Sadly. I try and learn from my mistakes and as I forgive others I hope they will forgive me! You are a kind and generous person which seems to have walked in many shoes! and, well, pretty damn smart as well! take care!
i have been looking for this song for about 2 yrs im 25yrsold so everyone i keplt asking knew nothing about it and then one day i walked into this big lots and it was playing the cashier over heard me saying i loved it abd told me who sang it that made my day my week my whole year i just love this song its got so much fealing
This is a great song. However, as a looooong time Neil Young fan (saw him live just last month in London) i find it hard to reconcile how NY would attach his name to this obviously G Nash tune. It couldn't sound less NY if it tried. Is anyone else baffled by this?
It's a fantastic song, maybe he liked it and put his name to it? Maybe he helped write the melody or a certain part? I spose it comes with being part of a supergroup like that, you're not always going to be the talent coming out on top, so some sacrifice has to be made?
he attached his name because, he was part of the band, and when they let out one of these cd's, they weren't going to put CROSBY STILLS NASH AND YOUNG (except for Our house) that would be bad, and who cares if he attached his name, does it really matter?

It's about Joni Mitchell. SHe and Nash had a thing (before Judy COllins). (I guess Nash has seen love from both sides now --hehe.)
