Read the "Eye of The Storm" The writer, whose name I can't recall, states Lewis Collins DID pass SAS TA Selection but was not badged because of his profile in the community.. as an actor. Maybe not so second rate after all.

Great film! I have watched this movie about 100 times whilst drunk! so everytime i see it again is liking watching it for the first time. i have sworn never to watch this sober! the end is prolly the best climatic hard scene ever.
