Use white toothpaste let sit one min. then rub with fingers, takes about 4 min then rinse with soap & warm water.

@jessedapimp1 Iodized salt is pretty much plain salt. If you look on the packet your table salt comes in it'll probably say "Iodized table salt"

Woah! Cleaning US coins will make them worth less money if you plan to ever sell them. Good idea for an experiment, but PLEASE don't find dad's or grandpa's coin collection and clean them for him. PLEASE! LOL google it if you don't believe what other's and I are telling you. coin collectors do not want cleaned coins! I collect coins and won't buy them except if they are silver and I can sell them for the silver value! :) just a tip.

I don't think that that will work because you are just cleaning the surfice and you don't know it could remove the original coating put on so it might harm the coin.

This method is good for newer lincolns that are only worth face value. Never Ever use it on coins that worth something more. It will completly destroy its natural tone and color.
