  • Use white toothpaste let sit one min. then rub with fingers, takes about 4 min then rinse with soap & warm water.

  • If you leave it too long it will turn a pinkish color and it won't even look like a penny

  • If you leve it too long it will turn a pinkish color and it won't even look like a penny

  • Who has iodized salt lol

  • @jessedapimp1 Iodized salt is pretty much plain salt. If you look on the packet your table salt comes in it'll probably say "Iodized table salt"

  • Ucky?

  • sssss ssssssssss ssss

  • Woah! Cleaning US coins will make them worth less money if you plan to ever sell them. Good idea for an experiment, but PLEASE don't find dad's or grandpa's coin collection and clean them for him. PLEASE! LOL google it if you don't believe what other's and I are telling you. coin collectors do not want cleaned coins! I collect coins and won't buy them except if they are silver and I can sell them for the silver value! :) just a tip.

  • I accidently destroyed the outside of a 1994 quarter a couple years back, and it melted off, so now I have the same quarter, but its all copper, and no ridging, and i used it on it... thanks

  • ok.. now..right after it drys.. take a pencil eraser to it.. then you'll really see it shine up.... try that!!!!!

  • put the penny in drano then scrub with tooth brush and you can use things to clean showers with because of the mineral deposites.

  • Not worked :(

  • Naruto?

  • naruto?

    fuck you

  • just mix 50% lemon juice and 50% salt and it also cleans

  • I did that to a wheat penny(65 year old penny) and to a regular recent penny, then it came out all pink.

  • do u realize that when u clean a coin, it destroys all its value, the average wheat penny is worth about 25 cents, if u clean it, then its only worth 1

  • @MrPack0 do you realize that no one gives a shit

  • just mix 50% lemon juice and 50% salt really good than it will clean pennys even better than expensive cleaners

  • im gonna clean my 1909 s vdb penny its in like fine hopefully it will bump it up to vf

  • I don't think that that will work because you are just cleaning the surfice and you don't know it could remove the original coating put on so it might harm the coin.

  • Comment removed

  • what does happen

  • anyone know how to clean a very dirty green corroded penny?

  • use vinager and salt,

than let it soak in the solution till u see its clean.

  • good but it messed up my penny

  • for some reason ketchup nore this nore coca cola dont work....

  • I LOVE KETCHUP!!!

  • lol

  • @ChargersRock13 why did you say i love ketchup

  • @MrsDogsrule145 Some people use ketchup to clean pennies too. I never tried it before.

  • how should i clean my 1943 silver penny

  • Don't.

  • Vinegar and salt create hydrochloric acid. Do not use this trick unless you don't care about your coins.

  • This method is good for newer lincolns that are only worth face value. Never Ever use it on coins that worth something more. It will completly destroy its natural tone and color.

  • dont listen 2 him ue ketupe 2 clean it

  • I can't stress it enough as a coin collector for over 19 years. NEVER EVER EVER EVER clean a coin! This TOTALLY destroys the value. It's NEVER safe to clean a coin.

  • U MESSED UP MY BEST COIN U FUCKIN LOSER

  • nice
