  • Baruch Hashem! & Hare Krishna!

  • If I am mexican. Can I still join the Breslovs?

I mean I'm thinking about conversion to judaism

  • @alanisster Yes, certainly through an orthodox conversion.

  • See answer above

  • where are the women?

  • Upstairs and also dancing among themselves.

  • behind a mechitza

  • or the men are behind a mechitza, either way

  • music? this def was not during simchas torah. maybe a hachnasas torah?

  • Simchat Torah Shany (second Simchat Torah) a little while after the chag ends the Hassids regather to dance to music.

  • @ilanmordechai this was in israel where they only keep one day yom tov, in the diaspra it is still yom tom and we are dancing first hakofos. Second Hakofos have become acustomed in Isreal so they wont feel left out.

in Chabad we make second hakofas the day before on Shemini Atzeret

  • Is it an honor to dance with the rabbi?

  • i wouldn't say particularly, but the rabbi is generally (but not always) the holiest man in the synagogue, so the holier people dance with more feeling than others so people like dancing with them. that's at least how i see it

    Wonderful!

  • Its amazing how anybody can become a Breslover. If you convert you can be a Breslover. But dont even try that with a group like Satmar. You aint Hungarian, dont even think about it. If your a black convert...get that out of ur mind that ur gonna be a satmar. BUT BRESLOVERS TAKE NE ONE....THAT WHY I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!
