Think of how many things on Earth were thought to be made by civilisations and later turned out to be natural. @chancevaught78 - Due to a shared link between ESA and NASA, I beleive that the ESA is not really familiar with the fact that something is hidden in those images. They simply provide what NASA provides them. The ESA and NASA computers are linked in such a way that image information (written data only) are synced. Therefore NASA can not hide from them that the images were taken... only what is in those images by airbrushing them out. This is why NASA themselves do not provide the images freely.

These pictures are hardly the result of "picture compression". These are not compression artifacts. I have never before seen compression artifacts casting a 3 dimensional profile. These images are also casting their own shadows that all run in the same direction as other larger items in the image. LET ME REPEAT: Compression artifacts don't make their own shadows and have a 3 dimensional profile in all 3 axises.
People can get all the official data they want by simply going to the ESA site and downloading the same images for themselves. I'm tired of trying to prove anything to disbelievers and people W/O common sense. If people want to remain blind drones then it's all on them. I'm moving on.
Digital terrain models do not use jpeg nor jpeg compression. The argument is simple. Regardless of them being single or not (in which case I know for a fact that two of them are completely separate images) either way, jpeg artifacts are not possible in 3D rendering models originally using TIFF as it's output. Since this argument began, they have removed all but the jpeg images from the site in order to support this false claim. I still have the original tiff images here.
PS: I have further evidence to support this as well but it's not plausible to upload to youtube. It would never get approved. I plan on revealing some of it in the next issue of GOinternet Magazine... FEB 2010 issue ...as long as problems do not arise that will prevent it.

I downloaded the two images taken from different perspectives and can confirm that the markings on the ground is not jpg-artifacts. I have looked at another place than in this video and the markings are the same but from another angle. Will upload them here later this evening.
I believe these are not JPEG artifacts... i own a Mac, and i downloaded both the JPEG and TIFF versions :) and they have the same markings... #2, If you use a good image managing program, you will be able to accentuate Fine Detail and thus be able to view the "markings" become structural 3D objects... try it ... its pretty neat.. I just dont know why nothing has been officially commented on this, not even to disprove it...

They line up with the contours of the ground instead. What sis they do, remove the circuit board and rotate it every time they took a photo from a new angle?

They look very similar and when you zoom way in on california you get cities and structures. Interesting but not proof. You did a nice job with the video if those are different pics at different angles like you say, that is good evidence that we are not looking at pixelization.

Good video, expresses my conclusions exactly. I've worked with graphics professionally for 10 years using Photoshop and Fireworks (for websites, ads in newspapers, full-color offset-printed flyers, etc), and I have never seen .jpg artifacts do anything resembling what is in the Hale Crater photos (especially when you compare the different angles).
ESA photo shows what i would describe as an indenture near that pointing rock in Hale area (sorry not more specific) but there is a video on you tube about it. The weird thing is that Google Earth-Mars DOES NOT show that indenture which i measured it to be about 2000 feet acro, somebody doctored that photo for sure!

No, it's low quality in order to compensate for server bandwidth. All very large sites like this are like that unless they use specifically designed video player like stage6 did. (Divx). If youtube switched to Divx then it would be a lot better...
