  • i was a the game when the canes retired his jersey.they all wore the #10 jersey during warm-ups.when they raised the banner and ronny skated with his sons on the ice for the last time, i wasnt the only one crying.luv u ron!!!

  • As a Rangers fan, I'll never forget Francis's blue line shot that went past Richter in 1992. To this day I say if that goal doesn't go in, Rangers win the cup in 1992. I'll always hate him lol.

  • The Whalers actually had one of the top attendance rates of individual fans. It was the corporate support that was lacking. And just so you know, he was devastated when he was first traded and pretty bitter at first. (well,as bitter as a classy guy like him can be) Of course, if he was going to be traded there was no better place at the time to go. He used to live in my hometown and I ran into him the summer after the trade and Cup win and we had a nice conversation about this.
